Clinton: Administration Will File Suit Over Arizona Immigration Law
FoxNews ^ | June 17, 2010 | Mike Levine

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in an interview with a TV station in Ecuador that the Obama administration "will be bringing" suit against Arizona for its immigration law, though the Justice Department for weeks has said that the issue is under review.

In a clip of the interview posted on a conservative blog, Clinton was asked how the Obama administration was handling the debate over the law.

"President Obama has spoken out against the law because he thinks that the federal government should be determining immigration policy. And the Justice Department, under his direction, will be bringing a lawsuit against the act," the secretary of state responded, before calling for comprehensive immigration reform.

If states can police their borders with other states for illegal overweight trucks and agricultural goods, why shouldn’t they be able to police their southern state borders with mexico?

Betweeen this, Obamacare and the possibility of passing cap and treade with lame duck its just about time we the owners of this country start withoulding our taxes until the Tyranny Stops-thats about the only thing we can do short of Civil War/Revolution, they refuse to listen to the majority of the people. Who does DOJ they represent? Mexico? Is that not treason when we are being invaded?

The Democrats are forgetting something very important ~ the earlier Proposition 187 in California was stopped by Judge Pfaelzer. Gray Davis was elected Governor and he simply refused to appeal the case to higher courts.

There's not a chance the Governor of Arizona will fail to appeal any negative ruling by a federal judge in this case.

They, the Democrats, could lose it all on this case. Right now they have the chance to limit their damage to Arizona simply by doing nothing.

Odds are good that the lawyers at DOJ who know the story of Prop 187 are not telling the goobers Obama brought in to run the agency the truth.

The federal government has abdicated its responsibility and now they want to try to prevent the states from enforcing federal law as if ONLY the feds can enforce federal law. If the feds want to play that way, the states should refuse to help the feds in any way.

Another nail in the Rats’ coffin this fall.

Legality doesn't matter, just like the homosexual judge who is about the overturn Prop 8, the libtards will find a libtard Federal Judge who will overturn the Arizona law. With lefties the law doesn't matter, they change the rules as they go along, and if their rules don't fit, they find judges to make new ones.

We are living in a dictatorship.

States rights versus Federal rights...showdown time...

The Fed needs the money and the votes from the illegals. The states have to pay the price as the illegals suck them dry...

Administration Will File Suit Over Arizona Immigration Law

Of course it will. Makes perfect sense. Can't have a rogue state like AZ screwing around with/discouraging a potentially massive voter base.

Once again, a radical from Illinois is elected President and proceeds to tear the country apart. There is no way that this systematic dismantling of America can wind up any other way than our enslavement. No way, unless we stand up and resist.

Added to the Obama sponsored gulf FUBAR, and the AZ immigration issue the punk president is trying to seize local enviornmental programs from the Texas regulatory state agency.

It is becoming loud and clear. Obama has declared war on the Red States.

From as much of what she said that I saw on television I find it interesting how she puts this entirely on Obama. She did not say we or put her statement in a form that would assume that the decision is a right one or would be hers also but rather that it emanated out from Obama and is his alone and by implication not hers. This may have been a deliberate leak rather than a misspeak because Hillery wants to put space between herself and the decisions that Obama makes and she may have also wanted to give Arizona a heads up for future political benefit.

We never hear these reports. They are within a half mile of Eagle Pass, Texas. It won't be long Texas and we could see a real spill of flesh instead of oil: It just makes me sick that our elected officials stood, cheered and clapped when the Mexico President spoke about the Arizona law. The Mexico President could stop the violence in his country but instead he encourages them to come to the US and let us deal with the problems.

Please continue to pray with us concerning the events occurring in Piedras Negras. Remember, we have 5 churches in Piedras Negras.

Last Wednesday, on the road to Allende, Some tourists from the US and Canada were visiting a ranch in Allende. There was an attempt to car jack their vehicles, (2010 Suburban and 2010 Ford F 150 Pickup) As soon as the drivers saw what was happening, they tried to turn around and drive away. One hijacker jumped on the running board of the suburban and shot the driver in the head, killing him instantly. One of the American passengers was also shot. The pickup escaped and got back to the US side of the river and reported the incident. When the driver of the Suburban was shot, the vehicle left the roadway and rolled over. THE MEXICAN AUTHORITIES REPORTED THIS AS A ROLLOVER ACCIDENT. That alone will tell you how deep the cartels control the authorities in Piedras Negras.

Yesterday morning, Sunday. Hand grenades were thrown into a Casino in Piedras Negras. We do not have information on how many were killed or wounded.

Yesterday Afternoon: In a restaurant in Piedras Negras (one block from our downtown church) two members of the Mexican Navy who were eating lunch in the restaurant were assassinated while eating.

Piedras Negras is living in fear. Thus far, none of our church members have been affected, with the exception of a member of the downtown church whose grandson was kidnapped on the street three weeks ago and nothing has been heard from him since.
We praise the Lord for all our Pastors who are standing faithfully against these attacks and giving hope and encouragement to the people. Please keep them in your prayers.

A week ago Wednesday, 4 individuals were murdered in Piedras, the following Thursday 3 more were killed. They cut the head off of one of the victims and left it on his doorstep so his wife would see it when she left the house.

We are maintaining a low profile in the work in Mexico. We are trying to purchase an old clunker vehicle to move around in in Mexico so as not to draw any type of attention to our presence.

Last month, when the chief of Police in Villa Acuna Mexico was assassinated, (18 bullet holes in the body from AK 47’s) His body was brought to Eagle Pass for burial at the request of the family. While the body lay in the funeral home, the cartels tried to enter Eagle Pass and remove his head while the body was in the funeral home. They wanted to put it on display in Mexico to show their power. The American authorities got word of it and SWAT teams stood guard on the bridges and around the funeral home.

Mexico needs your prayers. The Mexican people are precious people but their world is being torn apart by the drug cartels.
Our God is able to deliver the Mexican People. Please pray for us and with us for the churches and the Mexican people.

D and C
