Russia's northern most active volcano is churning out ash to a height of 4,000 meters (13,000 feet) in the country's Far East, the local geophysics service said on Thursday.
The 3,283-meter (10,771-foot) Shiveluch volcano on the Kamchatka Peninsula last erupted in December 2006 and has been active ever since with the volcano spewing out gas and ash up to 8,000 meters (26,000 feet).
The local seismological service reported registering dozens of tremors within the area in the past 24 hours. According to specialists, the volcanic activity over the past two-three years has significantly altered the contour of the volcano with the crater increasing in size by 50% and the slopes becoming far steeper than previously.
Although the current eruption poses no immediate threat to nearby settlements, the ensuing ash fallouts could be hazardous to health and the environment. The clouds of volcanic ash could also pose threat to air traffic because the tiny particles cause problems with aircraft engine turbines.

Every so often we hear one of these end-of-the-world stories. There’s a meteor that’s going to hit the earth, or the sun’s going to lose its gravitational pull.
Today we heard another: The earth is going to be hit by a barrage of solar flares in 2013 when the sun’s magnetic energy cycle coincides with its 11-year peak in super-powered-sunspot activity — but this time it wasn’t a maverick amateur making the predictions. It was’ NASA.
The solar flares generate massive shifts in magnetic activity, which could potentially lead to blackouts, communications failing, TV and radio networks disappearing .

I just watched some disturbing video earlier today of folks diving in the Gulf (scientists). I know I’ve mentioned a few times that the oil has looked like blood in some pictures I’ve seen. Well, after watching this video it’s CLEAR that it is NOT just at certain times of the day that it looks just like blood...

I too have noticed the incredible amount of earthquakes that seem to be occurring on a daily basis, as another freeper said either on this thread, or the Obama Mocks God thread.
Now, with many separate volcanoes acting up more than usual? Definitely could translate into ‘fire from the skies’, IMHO... Ever since I realized how MUCH the oil looked like blood mentioned that would effect 1/3 of the ocean, and kill all living things in it, I’ve been re-reading various parts of Revelation and trying to determine what else could be happening that we might not directly relate to the things John described seeing...
I’m sure some things would be pretty hard to miss — like the sun dark for 1/3 of the day, and no light from the moon for a 1/3 of the night. Too me though that sounds like something that could happen were the axis-tilt of the Earth to change.
Anyway, I just thought I’d mention a couple of these things. I think I’m still waiting for a ‘big sign’, so to speak, but things are definitely starting to add up.

Evacuation plans have started and signs are going up along US10 through the gulf states. There will soon be a mass exodus I beleive from them. [WIFE] has started stocking staples such as rice and toilet paper, coffee and many other items. At the least we know the prices will only go up because shipping up the Mississippi will be a problem and much of our goods come from there.

REPORT
A dire report circulating in the Kremlin today that was prepared for Prime Minister Putin by Anatoly Sagalevich of Russia’s Shirshov Institute of Oceanology warns that the Gulf of Mexico sea floor has been fractured “beyond all repair” and our World should begin preparing for an ecological disaster “beyond comprehension” unless “extraordinary measures” are undertaken to stop the massive flow of oil into our Planet’s eleventh largest body of water.
Most important to note about Sagalevich’s warning is that he and his fellow scientists from the Russian Academy of Sciences are the only human beings to have actually been to the Gulf of Mexico oil leak site after their being called to the disaster scene by British oil giant BP shortly after the April 22nd sinking of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform.
BP’s calling on Sagalevich after this catastrophe began is due to his being the holder of the World’s record for the deepest freshwater dive and his expertise with Russia’s two Deep Submergence Vehicles MIR 1 and MIR 2 [photo below] which are able to take their crews to the depth of 6,000 meters (19,685 ft).
According to Sagalevich’s report, the oil leaking into the Gulf of Mexico is not just coming from the 22 inch well bore site being shown on American television, but from at least 18 other sites on the “fractured seafloor” with the largest being nearly 11 kilometers (7 miles) from where the Deepwater Horizon sank and is spewing into these precious waters an estimated 2 million gallons of oil a day.
Interesting to note in this report is Sagalevich stating that he and the other Russian scientists were required by the United States to sign documents forbidding them to report their findings to either the American public or media, and which they had to do in order to legally operate in US territorial waters.
However, Sagalevich says that he and the other scientists gave nearly hourly updates to both US government and BP officials about what they were seeing on the sea floor, including the US Senator from their State of Florida Bill Nelson who after one such briefing stated to the MSNBC news service “Andrea we’re looking into something new right now, that there’s reports of oil that’s seeping up from the seabed… which would indicate, if that’s true, that the well casing itself is actually pierced… underneath the seabed. So, you know, the problems could be just enormous with what we’re facing.”
Though not directly stated in Sagalevich’s report, Russian scientists findings on the true state of the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster are beyond doubt being leaked to his longtime friend, and former US President George W. Bush’s top energy advisor Matthew Simmons, who US media reports state has openly said: “Matthew Simmons is sticking by his story that there’s another giant leak in the Gulf of Mexico blowing massive amounts of oil into the Gulf of Mexico. On CNBC’s Fast Money, he says he’d be surprised if BP lasted this summer, saying this is disaster is entirely BP’s fault.”
As a prominent oil-industry insider, and one of the World’s leading experts on peak oil, Simmons further warns that the US has only two options, “let the well run dry (taking 30 years, and probably ruining the Atlantic ocean) or nuking the well.”
Obama’s government, on the other hand, has stated that a nuclear option for ending this catastrophe is not being discussed, but which brings him into conflict with both Russian and American experts advocating such an extreme measure before all is lost, and as we can read as reported by Britain’s Telegraph News Service:
Russia is now urging the United States to consider doing the same. Komsomoloskaya Pravda, the best-selling Russian daily newspaper, asserts that although based on Soviet experience there’s a one-in-five chance a nuke might not seal the well, it’s “a gamble the Americans could certainly risk.”
Reportedly, the U.S.S.R. developed special nuclear devices explicitly for closing blown-out gas wells, theorizing that the blast from a nuclear detonation would plug any hole within 25 to 50 meters, depending on the device’s power. Much as I had idly imagined, massive explosions can be employed to collapse a runaway well on itself, thus plugging, or at least substantially stanching, the flow of oil.
“Seafloor nuclear detonation is starting to sound surprisingly feasible and appropriate,” University of Texas at Austin mechanical engineer Michael E. Webber is quoted observing, while Columbia University visiting scholar on nuclear policy and former naval officer Christopher Brownfield wrote in the Daily Beast: “We should have demolished this well with explosives over a month ago. And yet we watch in excruciating suspense while BP fumbles through plan after plan to recover its oil and cover its asset.”
As to the reason for Obama’s government refusing to consider nuking this oil well, Sagalevich states in this report that the American’s “main concern” is not the environmental catastrophe this disaster is causing, but rather what the impact of using a nuclear weapon to stop this leak would have on the continued production of oil from the Gulf of Mexico, and which in an energy starved World’s remains the Planet’s only oil producing region able to increase its production.
On top of the environmental catastrophe currently unfolding in the Gulf of Mexico the situation may about to get even worse as new reports from the US are confirming the grim predictions of Russian scientists regarding the oil dispersement poisons being used by BP which are being swept up into the clouds and falling as toxic rain destroying every living plant it touches, and as we had detailed in our May 23rd report titled “Toxic Oil Spill Rains Warned Could Destroy North America”
To what the final outcome of this catastrophe will be it is not in our knowing other than to state the obvious that the choice facing the American’s today is to either stop this disaster now, by any means, or pay dearly for it later. After all, is cheap petrol really worth the cost of destroying our own Earth? BP surely thinks so, let’s keep hoping Obama doesn’t.

There are at least a couple, maybe 3 sources which indicate that nuking the leak may also be supremely disasterous. IIRC, one of the sources was a Christian prophetic source--I don't recall specifically who. Another source was a Western industry or some such official. And the 3rd source was Cliff's latest webbot report.
Some expressed concern that given that the Gulf was created by a massive ancient meteor crash, the crust may be quite thin there. A nuke into a thin area of the crust is not particularly attractive to some 'experts.'
Another concern expressed was about the 'large lake of oil' in the Gulf--and that a nuke might just pull a large part of the thin 'lid' off that large lake of oil.
Another concern expressed was that the significant faults associated with the New Madrid quake end approximately where the first major BP leak is. And, that a nuke, would quite possibly set off the New Madrid quake to a devastating degree--resulting in what half a dozen or more predictions have asserted would be the Great Lakes emptying into the Gulf of Mexico . . . messing Chicago up more than a little bit . . . as well as a wide swath on both sides of the current Mississippi as the Gulf is extended by a long wide finger most of the way up, if not to the Great Lakes.
Some Christian sources have asserted that God will insure that the New Madrid quake does just that because OThuga is insisting so emphatically that Israel divide its land.
Many prognosticators, including the Hopi Elders, have compiled maps showing just such a new map. Note, I realize that most of such sources of such maps are various kinds of occultic in nature. I list them mostly because they are interesting puzzle pieces in the broad topic area of the END TIMES. I don't know what to make of them individually or collectively but find their points of agreement fascinating.
I wouldn't trust them, per se, much at all on that basis. However, so many of them agree in some general ways--in major portions--with each other. THERE ARE ALSO MAJOR DIFFERENCES--NONE ARE EVEN CLOSE TO IDENTICAL . . . it may be that the enemy is slightly consistent in his deceptions. It may also be that God is using every means to get the word out BASICALLY THAT MAJOR GEOGRAPHIC CHANGES ARE COMING OUR WAY to all who'd listen to a wide variety of sources. I'm not trying to mess with anyone's theology--just stating hypotheticals.
MOST SUCH sources, of course, are making money off their maps and books. I don't see that as automatically evil. Nor do I think their maps are worth more than the bother to look them up on the net as an interesting set of puzzle pieces to prayerfully ponder.

I heard a recent interview with Evelyn Browning Garriss, she's a historical climatologist who writes The Browning Letter on weather and geological events. If I understood correctly, according to her, the Iceland volcanoes would primarily affect Europe's weather, but the Alaskan and Russian volcanoes will more affect North American weather causing problems for farmers with cooler and wetter than normal growing seasons leading to significant harvest reductions.

I’d think it would depend on how high, how much, and what sized particles were thrown into the air.
Any of them could cause year around winter in the northern hemisphere if sufficient stuff went high enough.

I did forget to mention that Garriss said that Katla in Iceland would blow ash a lot higher into the upper atmosphere than the volcano with the unpronounceable name, and it could spread throughout the Northern hemisphere atmosphere, ultimately affecting our weather as well. She also noted that the last four times the unpronounceable volcano erupted, Katla later also erupted. Last I heard, Katla was showing increased activity.

At first I thought it was just a few pictures I saw, and that it had to be a reflection of the sun on the oil at a certain time of day. Or that parts looked red, but not all of it...
Seeing that video yesterday, and seeing that even in the shadow of their diving boat it was a thick frothy dark red... Well, it definitely gave me pause to think this very well could be what John saw and recorded. I know if that if I didn’t know what it was that would be my first guess, and exactly how I would describe it...

Kamchatkan, Alaskan, and Japanese volcanoes straddle the Great Circle route and could cut off all air travel to the far east.
That might impact trade a bit, eh?
