LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Rowdy revelers are surrounding cars that are attempting to leave Staples Center and random fights and bonfires are breaking out near the arena.

Television news footage showed several people jumping on a taxi Thursday night as it attempted to leave the area near the area after the Los Angeles Lakers win over the Boston Celtics.

Live video on LA tv streaming on the internet if you want to search.

And a live play by play on KFI am 640.

Just to let everyone know, the E3 Convention is being held until TODAY at the SAME vicinity (the LA Convention Ctre) right across Staples Center (where the rowdy revelers aka mexicans) are having their enjoyment.

THE Ubisoft company gave us a free pass. One of them asked “is it safe out here past 10 pm?” I said “tonight’s not a good night when people are celebrating or pissed off if the lakers lose..”

Ubisoft makes the Shaun White Skateboarding and Tom Clancy Ghost recon games...

I don’t even follow pro team sports anymore

I don't follow pro basketball. The players outgrew the court long ago, and the action is constantly stopped by one annoying foul after another.

My biggest complaint is that the NBA does not do enough to try to convince kids that dwelling on illusions of (unlikely) pro sports careers is not an acceptable substitute for studying and academic success.

(As almost any school teacher can tell you, this is quite a large problem).

Burn baby...Burn

If they can make a big enough of a scene then perhaps Obama will send L.A. a $400 billion emergency bailout check.

Sex.

Enough said. And Yes I am married and have been since 1999 when I stopped watching any sport other than Ice Hockey. At least there they fought it out right during the game!
