Sally Quinn: Hillary Clinton should be Obama's vice president
The Washington Post ^ | June 18, 2010 | Sally Quinn

Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden should switch jobs.

Really.

It makes sense for the Democrats, actually. Clinton has done an incredible job as secretary of state. First of all, she has worked harder than anyone should ever be expected to. She has managed to do the impossible: She is the ambassador of the United States to the world, maintaining her credibility while playing the bad guy to President Obama's good guy, such as with North Korea, Iran and Israel, and still looking good. She has been a true team player. If Clinton is dissatisfied with her role, you would never know it. She has been loyal and supportive to the president and has maintained a good relationship with him and with others in the White House. If she is being left out of the policymaking, or being sent on trips to keep her out of town, she has not shown it. She is cheerful, thoughtful, serious and diligent. There are no horror stories about her coming out of the State Department. Most notable, though, is that Bill Clinton has not been the problem that so many anticipated. He has been supportive of her and of Obama, and he has stayed out of the limelight and been discreet about his own life.

In short, the arguments against Hillary Clinton being Obama's vice president have pretty much evaporated.

So, what kind of running mate would she be? We've seen the team player. Now consider Hillary the Democratic campaigner. She is tireless and relentless.(continued)

If I am remembering correctly, when the Clinton's were in the White House, Sally Quinn did not once invite them to any of her parties. Ms. Quinn also did not support Mrs. Clinton during the primary. Why the sudden change of heart?

This must have been written by somebody trying to be funny! Hillary is the laughing stock of the World! IMO Clinton has done nothing of substance, other than denigrating our country, further deteriorating our relationships with our allies, and encouraging our enemies.

No thanks. I want them all gone. Hillary supports everything obama does. The last thing we need is independents rallying around Hillary.

VP! Hey Sally, she’s going to be his opponent in 2012, not running mate.

So what will they do with Biden?

They're gonna make him an offer he can't refuse.

Hillary as Obama’s VP would be like having a cobra in your bed.

What international problem has she solved?

Solved? She isn't even connected with diplomatic efforts in the World's hotspots. That's better left to someone who has a clue of what they are doing. Instead, the O administration has her on an endless tour of the 3rd world.

Sally Quinn: Hillary Clinton should be Obama's vice president

Wow, she must really, really, really, really hate Obama to put him at such mortal peril.

“So what will they do with Biden?”

Ensure that he has stroke or an aneurysm. Biden gets sick or worse and Hillary gets sworn in as VP.

hahhaha! Mrs Clinton’s been been such a stunning success as Secretary of State! All the world peoples love USA long time now. Soon all our base are belong to them. Next we send “overcharge” button to China - or maybe they send to us.

Seriously, Hilly is looking quite haggard these days, like someone threw a bucket of water at her. Wassup with that?

She’s looking haggard, but she’s talking out on more and more subjects, is getting a lot more press, and has her husband doing Obie’s dirty work. Methinks she may be in line as his replacement veep—especially to try to counter Palin.

Oh, and of course her makeup and makeover staff could whip her into some kind of shape for the 2012 campaign.

....... but importantly, she would neutralize the effect of Sarah Palin.

My Gawd, wouldn't you love to see Sarah Palin side-by-side with the PIAPS in a televised debate? One, Sarah would wipe the floor with her on the topics, and two, the physical contrast would drive voters to Sarah Palin.

Clinton has done an incredible job as secretary of state.

This is hilarious! They have sent out any number of others to do the SOS job, including her own husband! Why didn't Hillary go to Korea to get the gals back? Why is Mitchell still sent out as an envoy?? Etc., etc., etc. -- please already, Sally.

Dear Sally,

Hillary does not want to be VP. She wants to be President.

As Obama keeps falling in the polls the old men in the grey suits will visit her. She will be anointed, and The One will pull and LBJ—”I will not run.....”

Hillary is no one’s VP.
