Gilroy indeed does grow a lot of garlic.
However, they have to have their seed garlic grown in Nevada - in “Empire,” which is north of Reno on the edge of the Black Rock Desert. There’s some fungus in the soil around GIlroy which makes it difficult to grow garlic from seed to small bulb plants. So they do it in Nevada.
HIGHLY profitable.
“We dont use drywall here in the South. We use sheetrock.
Would that be anything like gypsum plaster pressed between two thick sheets of paper, then kiln dried. That’s what we use here.”
The kiln dried gypsum between paper is what is most commonly used here in Oz. Commonly known as Gyprock (a brand name that’s passed into the local vernacular).
“defective Chinese drywall case”
How about mixing it with defective Chinese toothpaste and marketing it as a new, low-cost pastry?
More Chinese crap alert.
Keep me posted on these developments, please.
A close friend of mine is an electrician who’s being sued along with his contractor for working on 2 houses with this drywall in St.Tammany Parish.
He’s worried sick.
If a company knowingly puts noxious materials throughout your home it must be made plain that it will be very painful for the company involved.
