Obama hits golf course with Biden on another hot, humid weekend By Bridget Johnson - 06/19/10 03:37 PM ET
President Barack Obama hit the golf course Saturday with Vice President Joe Biden.
The White House pool report noted that Obama left at about 1 p.m. for the course at Andrews Air Force base, and his golfing parters included White House Trip Director Marvin Nicholson and photographer David Katz.
Nicholson and Katz, along with Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, joined Obama for four hours of golf last weekend. The Republican National Committee released an ad soon afterward taking aim at Obama's golfing during the ongoing BP oil spill crisis in the Gulf of Mexico.
The temperatures in the Washington, D.C., area Saturday were similar to last weekend, in the low 90s and humid.
Obama attended the Washington Nationals game Friday night wearing a cap for his hometown Chicago White Sox. Sources told the pool reporter that Obama sang "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" and left in the ninth inning, before the White Sox edged out the Nationals 2-1 in the 11th.

actually, the ceo of BP isn’t responsible for the cleanup... no more so than you would be responsible for repairing your own car if you had an accident.
the oil companies have been paying their insurance premiums (the oil spill liability trust fund) since 1990. the purpose of the fund, which holds about $2.5 billion, is to allow the government enough money to manage, oversee and insure the cleanup is done properly. it also limits the financial exposure of the oil companies... to about $75m per incident.
of course, 0bama and crew don’t want people to know this.
they also don’t want people to know that it was bjclinton that signed the law making the POTUS the one in charge of offshore oil spills.
therefore, it makes a huge difference if 0bama is goofing off instead of pluggin the damn hole.

I actually prefer him on the golf course than actually trying to do something. At least he’s not screwing up anything worse than he already has. I think he should take the next 6 months off. But then that might help the rats in the november election.

The difference between the BP CEO attending a yachting race and Obama is that the BP CEO didn’t call out Obama for his golfing/soirees on the white house lawn/vacations.....yet ‘bams and his thugs did.
Meantime, there are the "small people" suffering the conequences of Obama's arrogant indifference. . .and while BP Hayward 'said it'; it could not better reflect Obama's own sociological view. (They ARE, of course, both Libs. . .)

If only. . .he would get away from the rest of us. . .permanently. (As in 'permanently retired' of course. Would not bother me a bit; if he spent the rest of his life on a golf course.) It would bother him, if he had to wait for a tee time. . .so think he prefers scheduling his games from the White House and no doubt; would prefer to 'never leave'. That said, cannot help but get the feeling; Obama has plans in the works for a very long occupancy. OTOH. . .maybe not.
Apparently, he thinks his family stinks (then too, his wife said he is “stinky in the morning”). He spends so much time on the golf course and traveling I doubt he ever sees them. Then too, with his overbearing wife, welfare mother-in-law and his wacky kids...I’d be out of the house a lot. Apparently, prior to becoming elected Resident, he hardly ever went “home” to see his family who lived in Chicago while he was here.

We know little of this man; save to say that everything we 'see' of Obama; is a fabrication. 'Family man'...caring husband; dog-lover; (authentic Leader/President...) EVERYthing. . .a fabrication; save that we do know, he genuinely, loves to play golf - and basketball.
Do think Obama's marriage was a necessity - he needed authentic 'black'-American' association to move forward and upward and to be accepted and so propelled, by Black constituency. . .and Liberal, for that matter per the 'guilt factor'. Marrying say. . .a light-skinned 'Halle Berry' would not have done it.
Michelle, authentically and thoroughly 'black'- and an American citizen - was a deal closer. No doubt her height; hips. . .and anger, helped.
By every measure; these people would have you believe they invented it. We are left to express inanities like. . .'unfrickenbelieveable'; except, we know better. It is all just 'reason-defying'.
Remember 'post Monica'; Hillary with a straight face offering that her hubby - still President - was supportive of those Foundations whose goals were to protect women from abuse. There is more than enough to fill volumes and certainly some great campaign commercials; but we all know better by now; to never hold our breath waiting for Repubs to respond so - forthrightly.
