I would just add that I -- I have never said this, so I have good credentials to say this now -- it's common for commentators to say every election this is the most important election in American history or in our time.

I always read Mr. Prager’s commentaries. The man has such an eloquent way to express valuable insights.

I fear we have reached a point where we have a voting populace, of > 50% who are perfectly fine with socialism.
Therein lies the problem.
A corollary being that the majority of that 50% have not even a remote historical understanding of what the ultimate endpoint of socialism actually entails.
For now it is free government cheese, hopefully removed from the wallets of “rich”. Those “rich” of whom they remain envious and want destroyed.
Marxism is our nation's **most** urgent and serious threat. Schools ( especially government K-12 schools) are the Marxists **most** powerful weapon!
And.. I disagree with Mr. Prager about when the problem started. It began several decades before Dewey. It started the very minute the first socialist-funded, Prussian-tyranny government elementary school open in this nation!
Think about this. Simply by attending a socialist-funded school children learn to be comfortable with socialism!!! They learn that the government has enormous police power to make citizens pay for a service their parents want for tution-free. They learn that the government has great police power to **force** parents to use a government school service. Gee! Is it any wonder that we now have Obamacare?
Within one to three generations of government schooling we had: the IRS, federal reserve, direct elections of senators, feminism, unions, large swaths of land usurped for federal parks, Wilson, the failed League of Nations, FDR's New Deal, the abominable U.N., Johnson's Great Society, abolishment of the gold standard,..and literally thousands of socialist programs and offices.
Our parents, grandparents, and great grand parents learned to be socialists by attending socialist-modeled government schools! If children attend socialist-funded government schools, they will grow up to be socialists who vote for bigger government!
He’s right. If we don’t rid ourselves of Obama; the idiots that voted for him are going to find out they are sacrifices and slaves on the plantation for the rest of their lives.

I have no faith in most of the American people so this could happen. Unfortunately, most people are no longer “Americans”...they simply inhabit this land.
Even if all of the current troubles get Obama fired, I'm sure the majority will soon be looking for a similarly slick and shallow savior to replace him.
