When are these morons going to get the gist of things? It’s like they would be shocked if a bear went **** in the woods. Don’t they realize they have lost over half their audience? And the other half just uses their copy to illustrate how brain dead they are.

Going by one chart on a CNBC, the northeast was responsible for the loss. The rest of the east and the midwest was flat.

Unexpectedly? Hardly. With the tax credit expiring in April, this should really come as no surprise. Now, hopefully the government will get out of the way and allow housing prices to reach their true equilibrium point by letting the market make this determination.
