Even when FR is FUBAR, I can’t win!
You like that background color, eh?
I was gonna change it, a nice pale gray but.. Oops, stuff happens..
That was one bumpy ride so far.. hopefully we’re over the worst of it..
=100 Mbps is no help when a server refresh takes a half minute :o(
Right on, I live in Kalifornia, don’t hold that against me. We are flying to Michigan, gonna stay at the cabin my sister has on the lake and watch the race. Kevin Harvick is my pick, wife has John Paul Montoya, ? whose that?
Enjoy the race!~
Looks like a Plymouth Lancer, or maybe Nash Rambler wagon color. These days, you’d need to shave your head, find a polyester Hawaiian shirt and get some tats to drive something that shade.
DH and I call Montoya >>> Montoilet
“Jaun Pablo Montoilet” (with the spanish accent and all) lol
My Dad, God rest his soul had a Pinto that color!
it is some fubar’d too
LOL... my mom had a Duster that color.
After I became a parent, I saw a few diapers that color. Yeee.
I rented a Gremlin once that color...had to see a shrink
oh man, I don’t think I could get away with that. She still gets PO’d when I say things about Rusty Wallace.
That’s OK, just means you were feeding them lot’s of peas!
If I have unnerved a little olden angst of father and in’law hood.., I have done well.. Indeed. ;-)
Me mum used to drive a tractor that color too.. or close to it. :-)
<—————— now that was funny
diapers.. ugggh.
did you vote? Today is the Utah primary yaknow?
any newscopter footage?
but glock gets all the glory....
we’re left picking up the scraps...
no pic assumes a 4 bagger huh
... beer run.....brb
Pick me up a 5L keg of Heineken please...
Yep. Voted by mail last week for the Tea Party, anti-big govt choice to replace Rino Robert “Bob” Bennett.
Bridgewater got Bennett’s kiss o death. I’m rootin for Lee.
Sadly, not a huge poll turnout, but we’ll see how many vote by mail, there’s quite a few of us these days.
... and Cheesy Poofs!
Don’t forget the Cheesy Poofs, again.
I’m gonna get me one of them minikegs next month.. wifey is escaping back East for a week, that might last me a race or two..
The carpet I had in my room as a teen,, oyy.. lime green and a half.. an eye tickler
Vote by mail , jaa. here too..
I was lonely this last primary and dropped it off at my regular polling place, it was quiet as all get out.. too bad we couldn’t just iPhone it in .. someday .. soon.
Look’s like I need a iPhone to play along with the silly games on these threads. Summer... the curse of the Nascar fan whom also gardens
got the cheesy poofs yesterday dos bagos
the 4 yr old grandson eats em like candy
Photos please...
You, like the rest of us, are going to have to wait for the release of the dash cam videos on YouTube.
Make sure ya get 3D with that iPhone Dude!
Daytona and DirectTv and some gadgets are going to make the July 3 race available in 3D to those with the equipment and stuff to see it..
What in the world are you going to do with an iPhone if you can’t even figure out your iPod???
Just put your iMac in your wheelbarrow. You’re more likely to remember how to operate both without retraining.
Back on top
Jimmie Johnson’s critics like to point to the equipment as the reason for his success. Will his road win change that?

Upcoming changes have busy Helton enthusiastic
President talks about Nationwide car, restrictor plates
By Joe Menzer
June 22, 2010
http://www.nascar.com/2010/news/features/06/22/1.on.1.mhelton/index.html
As president of NASCAR, it is Mike Helton’s job to oversee a wide variety of issues that face the sport of stock-car racing on a daily basis.
It is an exceptionally busy time for Helton these days, as he presides over a number of changes that have begun taking place already and will continue to occur as the summer progresses. Helton sat down with NASCAR.COM to discuss some of the changes and what he sees as the current state of the sport.
Q: Can you talk a little bit about the new Nationwide Series car that will make its debut in Daytona over the July 4 weekend?
Helton: Well, it was exciting to see a test at Daytona about a month ago. The debut of it at Daytona here in a couple races is well anticipated. The reason it’s so exciting has a lot to do with the style, particularly of the [Ford] Mustang and the [Dodge] Challenger as they are unveiled down there. But it’s also a big step toward ensuring the safety of the drivers, being able to put the chassis into that series and being more confident of the safety of the driver with this chassis.
But it’s exciting, and the debut of it in Daytona is going to be pretty exciting to watch. I think there’s going to be a lot of chatter again about the Ford and the Dodge that are going to be there. And it raises the confidence of the Nationwide Series in general, to have something of that level to debut. It’s going to be a moment to remember. Then we’ll shake it out in a few more races this year and go full time with it in the Nationwide Series next year.
What exactly was in the fuel cans?
Mystery fuel found in Gordon’s car at Infineon
http://www.nascar.com/2010/news/headlines/cup/06/18/jgordon.sspeed.sonoma.notebook/index.html
Jeff Gordon’s team found a mystery in the fuel system of the No. 24 Chevrolet on Friday. Instead of the blue racing fuel used at Infineon, the fluid was clear. Sunoco typically dyes the fuel it supplies to race teams different colors at different racetracks.
The No. 24 team flushed the fuel of unknown origin from the car and turned it over to NASCAR. As of Friday afternoon, NASCAR was investigating the source and composition of the fuel and contemplating spot-checking other cars in the field, according to NASCAR spokesperson Ramsey Poston.
“I don’t know what was in our car,” crew chief Steve Letarte said before Friday’s time trials. “It was something that looked — it appeared to be other than race fuel. It wasn’t dyed. We’re not sure if it came in our jugs or if it came in the pumps here or what happened.
Wow.. we’re going on a day trip tomorrow with the pooches, first time for them to Monterey and Carmel. They have lots of trees there.
Thanks for the heads up. :-)
If you become concerned about the dawgs, Tork lives in the Redwoods. He has access to several industrial slurpers.
Find all the libs houses and let them loose on those trees.
Just leave the golf courses alone.....
I love my wheelbarrow...
