Several Senators have learned of a possible plan by the Obama Administration that would provide a mass Amnesty for the nation's 11-18 million illegal aliens. Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight Senators addressed a letter to the President asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can't secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate.
The letter that was sent to Pres. Obama earlier today asks the President for clarification on the use of deferred action or parole for illegal aliens. The executive actions are typically used in special cases and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but if 60 votes can't be secured in the Senate to pass a mass Amnesty, the Administration may use the discretionary actions as an alternative.

If the King decides to do this, he will have a revolt on his hands.
People won’t stand for it.
Then the Senators need to stand up and overturn the EO.
The greater the resistance he meets, the more radical and aggressive he becomes.
It seems that his fragile ego may be breaking under the strain.
This President is using discretionary actions as a way of getting anything he wants, regardless of what Congress or the American people want. This guys needs to be impeached now and all the Democrats that support these type of actions. If not, they will take over this country.
I just thought of something were are these dogs I haven't heard a thing that they have done lately, are they keeping a log profile until it is time to strike again..
From what I understand a president can only grant pardons and amnesties to US citizens so illegal aliens wouldn’t qualify. It’s an act of desperation to even try because the democrats obviously want and need the votes.
That’s why its so important to elect new people without ties to Washington. People who don’t go along to get along.
Most important, we need to elect people who can’t be blackmailed into being lenient with criminals on either side of the aisle.
What Obama seems to want to do is effectively to try and convict the illegals in the country, and then grant blanket pardons.
“”U.S. Sen. Grassley: Administration immigration action
Senators Question Possible Administration Plans to Defer Action on Millions of Illegal Aliens
WASHINGTON Several U.S. senators today questioned possible plans by the administration to unilaterally extend either deferred action or parole to millions of illegal immigrants in the United States. Senator Chuck Grassley was joined by Senators Orrin Hatch of Utah, Jim Bunning of Ky., Saxby Chambliss of Ga., Jim Inhofe of Okla., Johnny Isakson of Ga., Thad Cochran of Miss., and David Vitter of La.
Theres a lot we can agree on when it comes to dealing with the immigration problems in the United States, but this appears to be amnesty in disguise, and is simply an attempt to circumvent Congress, Grassley said.
Heres a copy of the text of the letter to President Barack Obama.
June 21, 2010
President Barack H. Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, D.C. 20500
Dear President Obama:
We understand that theres a push for your Administration to develop a plan to unilaterally extend either deferred action or parole to millions of illegal aliens in the United States. We understand that the Administration may include aliens who have willfully overstayed their visas or filed for benefits knowing that they will not be eligible for a status for years to come. We understand that deferred action and parole are discretionary actions reserved for individual cases that present unusual, emergent or humanitarian circumstances. Deferred action and parole were not intended to be used to confer a status or offer protection to large groups of illegal aliens, even if the agency claims that they look at each case on a case-by-case basis.
While we agree our immigration laws need to be fixed, we are deeply concerned about the potential expansion of deferred action or parole for a large illegal alien population. While deferred action and parole are Executive Branch authorities, they should not be used to circumvent Congress constitutional authority to legislate immigration policy, particularly as it relates to the illegal population in the United States.
The Administration would be wise to abandon any plans for deferred action or parole for the illegal population. Such a move would further erode the American publics confidence in the federal government and its commitment to securing the borders and enforcing the laws already on the books.
We would appreciate receiving a commitment that the Administration has no plans to use either authority to change the current position of a large group of illegal aliens already in the United States, and ask that you respond to us about this matter as soon as possible.
If he does this or even tries he’d better paln on living out the rest of his life in some other country because he will not be welcome many places here.
What can we do? Surround Napolitano’s and Holder’s residences?
” people won’t stand for it “
..........well we got 0bamacare ,,,,,, where’s the beef ???
Not the case. Non-citizens have been pardoned many times.
EO Amnesty would be a very nice way to bring the cold civil war to a flashpoint.
thats where his voters are. illegals
They should be asking for evidence that he is qualified under Article II to sit in the Oval Office, much less make some kind of unAmerican executive order like that.
Where is there any backbone in Washington to stand up to this usurper???
Unconstitutional no matter how you look at it but none of that seems to matter with this administration.
US citizens fear the usurper, period.
