The big news today is the aftermath of General McChrystals insolent comments to Rolling Stone Magazine. The media, legislators and some brass were scolding McChrystal and calling for his resignation. Hes been humbled, has apologized, but is now bound for a stint in the woodshed.
In the interview, McChrystal criticized President Obama and ridiculed Vice President Biden and Richard Holbrooke. An aide described National Security Adviser Jim Jones as a clown mired in 1985.

Probably one of the reason the General did what he did. No commander worth his salt will stand by and let his troops be slaughtered for 1 man’s ego. Deaths over there have doubled since the Marxist in Chief took over.
I like that quote, “Through the mercy of fools all justice is lost”. Sounds like a bunch of perfumed princes we have for Generals. But I would imagine someone like Patton would never be promoted through the ranks today.
