Islam, the great divider has struck again. I don’t understand why more people did not see this coming? To me and many others it was obvious to see that as Muslim immigration continued, the push for Sharia Law would get stronger. Muslims in the UK were foolishly allowed to have their own Sharia Courts, and now they want more power.

“I don’t understand why more people did not see this coming?”

Is actually a statement, not a question.

I may be harsh, but Europe is already invaded... I truly hope that the USA still can stop world’s worst relgion in its tracks.

Muslims will never take over the US. Mexicans will not allow it.

I don’t have a problem with Muslims voluntarily submitting themselves to some internal “legal system” in their faith, for strictly religious issues such as most churches have. I have no problem with them deciding their own standards for halal compliance or whether someone is entitled to claim a post as an imam. I do have a problem with the idea of having U.S. using its executive powers to enforce the decisions of those “courts” or of recognizing a parallel legal system here in this country on non-religious matters such as divorce, property ownership, financing, parental matters. One hallmark of this country is its principle that all are equal before the law. (Yes, I know that princple and practice don’t necessarily coincide.) Sharia courts would destroy this principle for everyone, not just Muslims.

This is what the leftists have brought us - in their haste to destroy western civilization they’re allowing in a barbaric cult that, while I’m sure they believe they can control it, will annihilate them first.

God may have created man, but Samuel Colt made them equal.

They have bricks , knives , hatchets , machetes , cricket bats and garottes (probably misspelled that) ,,, you can improvise nearly anything in an urban environment ,, these cable ties in 36 or 42" lengths are everywhere ,, used to secure signs to lampposts ,, clip one off a pole and you have an unremovable noose at no cost... use and run..

The very idea of Shari’a courts and law would be as unconstitutional as something could possibly be in this country. This is exactly what the founders meant when they wrote their very first amendment, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”. Unfortunately the same words prevent Congress from acting against Shari’a law. The bottom line is that, when you’re in the USA, you are subject to USA law and no other. Whatever you do in your church or your mosque or your pile of sacred timber is your business, but if you kill someone or otherwise break USA law, your religion does not protect you.

Generally yes, but the so-called cultural defense is making inroads even here. This is where the court will take into account cultural, including religious beliefs, in determining whether your crime meets all the elements for conviction. It has been raised in issues as diverse as honor killings and drowning your own kids, in murdering a rival or kidnapping a child from the custodial parent.

Honor killings in particular should be vigorously prosecuted. They should be prosecuted as what they are, premeditated murder, with every possible additional penalty added on. The “cultural” people need to know that they are going to fry big time if they try that in this country. If they want to kill their own wives and kids, GO HOME. Then they can take advantage of their “culture”.

“Personally I see a civil war coming to the UK.”

The weapons were confiscated in late 1990s.

Absolutely agree with your assessment of cultural defenses. When in Rome, do as the Romans. When in America, do as the Americans. Problem is political correctness and multiculturalism is weakening our will to transmit the values that made and keep this nation great.

"In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin."

"But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all."

"We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Theodore Roosevelt January 03, 1919
