EL MIRAGE, Ariz. (AP) - The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office has raided a sanitation business in El Mirage and neighboring Youngtown northwest of Phoenix.
The Sheriff's Office said deputies began serving search warrants early Friday at Parks & Sons sanitation of Sun City.
The search warrants are based on anonymous tips from current Parks & Sons employees.

0bama’s Executive Order giving them amnesty will put them back to work.
Go Sheriff Joe!
They always seemed shocked to discover that they've hired illegal aliens. "Gee, that social security card looked real."
Add another hundred pounds of green bologna to our last order.
Oh yeah and 100 lbs of week old bread.
When this is SOP for every employer in the country, then we'll be making progress.
There is a FREE verification system in place and they know it!
Workers at an El Mirage business that was being raided may have been tipped off by a phone call minutes before Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s deputies arrived, authorities said Friday.
Seven people were arrested during the raid at Parks and Sons Inc., a trash-collecting business near Grand Avenue and Main Street.
When the 45 deputies and Posse members arrived with search warrants about 5:45 a.m. Friday, they found the suspects inside dumpsters and hanging on barbed-wire fences before taking them into custody, the Sheriff’s Office said.
No further information about the alleged call was available.
Two of the employees were arrested on suspicion of identity theft, four were suspected of living in the county illegally and one had an outstanding warrant. The ID-theft suspects might have used false IDs to gain employment, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The arrests came after a six-month investigation, which began after two anonymous employees contacted MCSO and reported possible illegal activity.
Deputies also served a search warrant at a Parks and Sons office building in Youngtown, where files were searched.
This is goodddd ROFL
I just saw this on Sheriff Joe Twitter page just now I was hoping somebody got this story

It appears there is a security leak with the Sheriff’s dept.
“They always seemed shocked to discover that they’ve hired illegal aliens. ‘Gee, that social security card looked real.’”
It’s not that they seemed shocked, it’s that many companies simply do NOT check. My own company just received two new contracts for government jobs. These require us to use e-verify (which I think should be required for EVERY SINGLE COMPANY) and we lost 27 employees in one day! Our HR department said, all their paperwork matched, so we didn’t even start to think about it. DUH!!!
When I was running HR for a security company, I took it on my own and simply used the call-in service where you give them the name, SSN, DOB and sex. If those match, with what the SSA have, then we are good - I caught three people with a simple 15-20 minute call!
For those employers who don't, first time offenders are subject to having their business license suspended for 10 days. Second time offenders have their business license permanently revoked.
BUMP!
MCSO prisoners no longer get the pleasure of green bologna, they now get natural peanut butter two times a day, along with jelly, oranges(or apples), crackers and a fruit flavored drink(you know the stuff you get 40 bottles for a dollar at a cheap store)..

“Natural peanut butter?”
That is the stuff I have to pay extra for at Publix markets. ‘Course I do get it “crunchy”, though.
Man can’t live on bread and peanut butter alone - it must be crunchy peanut butter.
¡Adios amigos!

They have to pedal for their T.V. so they can burn those stale carbs with ease!
“the Legal Arizona Workers Act requires all AZ employers to use the system to verify all new employees.
For those employers who don’t, first time offenders are subject to having their business license suspended for 10 days. Second time offenders have their business license permanently revoked.”
WOW! What a good idea.
I hope all 50 states finally do this
I think they get the peanut butter deal because it is left overs from school districts or something. I Know they don’t pay any of the exorbitant prices you would pay at Whole Foods or something.
Check out the Sheriff’s website! You can find photos of the recently arrested listed by category of the crime. It will be easy to see that hispanics rule just about every category. But go ahead and believe JannyNappy that the border is more secure than ever.

The problem is that there is no such requirement on purely private sector employers to do this.
I think that the way to finally close this loop would be to:
1. Have the eVerify system issue a transaction ID# that can’t be faked,
2. Require employers to keep this transaction ID to file with the withholding for employees, (meaning that they’ve verified the SSN under which they’re paying withholding taxes has been verified),
3. Companies that don’t eVerify a SSN are not allowed to deduct wages & withholding paid to employees, and if they are caught deducting the wages of someone for whom there is no eVerify transaction ID, they now incur an additional IRC violation.
You’re right - most companies simply don’t check. Why? They’re not required to do so.
If the GOP takes back the Congress, there is a real chance to finally deal with this, now that Ted Kennedy has gone to that great boozefest in the sky...
I’m curious as to what you do when you find paperwork discrepancies. I’m not saying you should turn them in to ICE just for applying for a job, but since you say you ‘lost’ employees after doing a search, did you tell them why they had to go? Are employees given a chance to correct any wrong information that might be in the database?
No snark intended, just curious about the process.
This isn't a bad way about cracking down on illegals. Identity theft is standard for illegal aliens and certainly worth investigating.
With roaches for the crunch...tasteeee!

OH YEAH I been on that website some of the suspects look very dumb and scary looking
If an employee comes up with a mismatch of information they can either contest it or not. If they don't contest it the employer can fire the employee. If they do contest it the employer prints out a referral letter and the employee has eight days to go to the appropriate agency. During that time the employer cannot take any adverse action against the employee.
The system is free and is only mandatory for companies with govt. contracts.
If they pass E-Verify employers risk discrimination lawsuits if they only investigate a few prospective employees further.
Watch for the feds to get a writ of Habeus Corpus to get the aresstees into federal custody. Then they will be promptly released on parole...never to be seen again.
‘When this is SOP for every employer in the country, then we’ll be making progress”
This is the LAW for every employer. Google Form I-9.
Ping!
Employers should verify their status BEFORE they offer them employment. End of their problem.
Employers should verify their status BEFORE they offer them employment. End of their problem.
They need to make E-Verify federal LAW for ALL businesses as well as the above penalty.
Then the only thing needed is to have a way to make sure someone is checking businesses. Or, they could start a hot-line granting $500.00 for calling in a tip that results in them finding illegals employed at the company reported.
“Are employees given a chance to correct any wrong information that might be in the database?”
Actually, we had close to 40 who had “incorrect data,” but it was because our computer system had them incorrect and we allowed the employees to correct any problems.
Those that we “lost” were told what the problem was and were given the same opportunity to correct their data, but they left! We didn’t fire any of them, they just stopped coming to work!
To be honest, I do not know if HR turned them in or not - I just know that I had a bunch of new hires to train for about two weeks.
E-Verify doesn't detect about 15% of those committing identity fraud.
Conversely, there is an unknown percentage of legal workers(mostly hispanic) who are mis-detected by E-Verify as being illegal to work. If they happen to live in AZ, they are considered to be on a do not work list.
That is/was included in comprehensive immigration reform. And unlike the AZ law that applies only to new employees, the federal reg would eventually apply to existing employees as well.
However, there were some disputes in Congress as to whether or not E-Verify would be linked to Real ID
Sure they will, but it won't be to your liking, it will simply be another amnesty, maybe with a fence. Remember when George was running for reelection then he promised a fence that he didn't build.
Remember, Lucy never lets Charlie kick the ball.
Are you talking about the proposed reform recently discussed? From what I have seen/read it is still voluntary except for federal government contractors. However, the article below from: http://www.dallasfed.org/research/swe/2010/swe1002e.cfm states that Arizona, Mississippi and Utah are mandating it.
In addition, at least some employers in 13 states are now required to use E-Verify, and more than half the states are currently considering legislation relating to the use of E-Verify. To date, Arizona and Mississippi are the only states mandating that all employers within the state use E-Verify, although Mississippi is phasing in participation through July 1, 2011, based on employer size. Beginning July 1, 2010, Utah will require all state agencies and contractors as well as all private employers with 15 or more employees to register with and use E-Verify.
If they implement this nationwide it will at least make it harder for illegals to get jobs here, which will make that desert trek a lot less attractive.
I wonder if they will be picking up my trash on Monday?
That would be Maricopa County Attorney, Rick Romley. He was appointed by the county board of stupidvisors. He is a big RINO and supports Juan McCain. He is NOT a friend of Sheriff Joe which is why they appointed him.
Executive orders are not enforceable if they conflict with laws duly passed by Congress.
Executive orders are not enforceable if they conflict with laws duly passed by Congress.
Congress can pass laws but enforcing them is another matter.
Obama is attempting to impose a fascist political correctness upon our country, outside of the laws.An executribe order will not do it. The Dems control congress, they culd pass an amnesty law tommorrow if they wanted, BUT THEY DO NOT. It would be the end of the Democrat Fascist party. So now they do the dirty. EFF THEM!!!
We must stand firm in the face of this political correctess fascist attack. I applaud the Governor of Arizona. She is a geuine heroine in my book.
I bet they will ram amnesty through after getting obliterated in the November elections.
