Vice President Joe Biden gave a stark assessment of the economy today, telling an audience of supporters, "there's no possibility to restore 8 million jobs lost in the Great Recession."
Appearing at a fundraiser with Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wisc.) in Milwaukee, the vice president remarked that by the time he and President Obama took office in 2008, the gross domestic product had shrunk and hundreds of thousands of jobs had been lost.
"We inherited a godawful mess," he said, adding there was "no way to regenerate $3 trillion that was lost. Not misplaced, lost."

The political decisions in this WH are made by Bambi, his wife, Jarrett, Rahm, Axelrod and Plouffe. If in 2012 Bambi is looking as weak as he is now I believe there is a strong possibility that Biden will be dropped from the ticket (just like Rockefeller was dropped by Ford in favor of Dole) and replaced by Hillary (if she doesn’t challenge Bambi for the Dem nod) or someone like Mark Warner of Virginia.

Yeah the stimulus package was supposed to keep unemployment below 8 percent. It has made the economy worse, as will cap and trade and and socilized medicine. Obama and Biden have taken a bad situation and are turning it into a depression.

So you inherited a mess with “hundreds of thousands” of jobs lost now its “8 million” never to return. Seems like you all, by your own admission, have made it substantially worse. Obama/Biden Hope sure isn’t what they promised.

Well, in fact a large part of the mess we are in can be squarely blamed on the former Bush administration and Democrat controlled Congress.
That being said, this three ring clown act called the Obama administration and Congress is in charge now and have all the power and authority to fix the economy, which they are incapable of doing since they are petulant children
