Mike Huckabee said Sunday he's the strongest Republican to take on President Obama in 2012.
"I end up leading a lot of the polls," the former Arkansas governor told "Fox News Sunday." "Im the Republican that clearly at this point does better against Obama than any other Republican."
Huckabee said he hasn't made up his mind about running, but suggested he's strongly considering it.
I havent closed the door. I think that would be foolish on my part, especially when poll after poll shows that there is strong sentiment out there," he said.

to our peril .. we absolutely have to get a real candidate and not a media star like Palin or Huckabee.
running those 2 would doom us to another 4 years of zero. just my opinion.

What is the weasel-word in this comment? Easy one. Notice he does not refer to himself as a CONSERVATIVE. Speaks volumes. Newt does a better job a putting down Obama that Huck does....over and over.

I like Mike Huckabee, but...... Nah, I don’t thinks so.
Only MAYBE as a VP selection to satisfy southern conservatives and to play a “good cop - bad cop” game on the lame DemoRAT candidate.

Just what we need, another RINO presidency. The last one beat us down to a nub and the current president is doing his best to apply the deathblow.
Sara Palin is clearly the best choice, it’s too bad the current Republican party has bought into the media demonization of her and are scared to endorse her. They don’t understand that the people know what’s right, we don’t need endorsement by the talking heads. Listening to them is how we get horrible McCain vs. Hussein match-ups, which are lose-lose every time. They’d love to have the next candidate be another loser like Huckabee or Romney (if Mass. will have him in their govt., he’s definitely not right for America).

I really don't like this man, and will be really p*ssed if good 'ol Huck and his ego allows the media to use them to squeeze out good candidates.
Which is what they obviously intend to do.

Insanity. Just buy them all clown shoes already.

That parole you authorized for the criminal that then murdered four cops is the nail in your presidential coffin, Huck. Stick to playing the guitar.

At first I thought this was Semmens’ satire, OK. its not. Our problem lately is that Americans seem to want wimps/wusses for President. What we need is strong leadership, emphasis on the leader. Huckabee? leader?? I don’t see it in him or Romney. Actually I don’t see it out there at all at the moment. Where is the next Reagan? Some talk the talk but will they walk the walk if elected?

The only person out there at the moment who could clearly stomp Zero into pulp while actually upholding conservative values is Chris Christie. He's absolutely amazing.
Unfortunately, he has said that he's not interested. I hope he changes his mind, though I admire his dedication to the job the voters elected him to. It shows that he puts his duty above his personal ambition, something that is virtually non-existent in politics today.

Chris Christie needs to finish the job and his term. I’m tired of political hacks quitting to run for the next job before they’ve finished the last one and proven themselves. I agree that he has what it takes though.
To: Chuzzlewit
It’s interesting that you stick those two together. Huck isn’t worthy to shine Sarah’s shoes.
