After 66 days, four Gulf Coast visits, one Oval Office address and countless slams at BP, President Obama still hasn't convinced Americans that he truly understands the disaster in the Gulf of Mexico—including its devastating effects on fishermen's way of life.

Could the reason be that Obama is not a fisherman himself?

Americans are, after all, accustomed to their commanders-in-chief also being anglers-in-chief—a tradition going back to our very first president. According to Bill Mares's fascinating book, "Fishing with the Presidents," George Washington not only took a fishing break during the Constitutional Convention in 1787. He also derived a significant part of his income from his commercial fishery on the Potomac.

No question, he fits the metro-sexual mold - (just as Michelle embodies literally the the angry and agressive and powerful - non-feminine per Liberal 'Feminism'.;

That said; would love to see this photo of Obama used in a Repub ad. . .and tie it to Obama 'pitiching' his economic reforms. . .et al. (Obama gives us winners, ever day; and Repubs do nothing with them.)
