The boycotts are a result of the liberal child-like thought process.

The liberals wanted so much to make a political statement. But they failed to think through any consequences of their actions. Now that they see there are real world consequences to these boycotts, they want to amend the boycotts so as to cause as few problems as possible. But they also want to keep the boycotts officially in place, so that they are still making their political statement.

These liberal cities feel a strong need to prove to other liberals and radicals that they have the politically correct opinion of the Arizona law.

Because we have so many morons like that is why we have the mess we are in, politically and morally. Too stupid to know who makes what, where state/country boundaries are and on and on.

Peggy West, advocate for Arizona Boycott, does not know Arizona is a border state. What party is she from?

The photo-intersections that make so many millions of dollars for governments of Seattle and L.A. are operated by a company in Arizona. I'm expecting them to be yanked out any day now. In fact, I'm holding my breath waiting for it to happen.

Yep. That’s the hallmark of liberalism; they never, ever, consider the law of unintended consequences.

If there is a constant theme to liberal thinking, it is precisely a failure to understand that actions have consequences.

I wish Arizona would boycott LA, and turn off the power switch

Did you hear that LA had to ‘modify’ it’s boycott of Arizona? The company that handles the red light cameras in LA is from Arizona - they couldn’t do without the revenue, so they still do business with them :)

"But they failed to think through any consequences of their actions"

Liberals never think through the consequences of their actions and if they go awry, the blame someone else. The liberal mind is unable to accept blame.

Unfortunately, due to long-term contracts already in place, Arizona can't do that even if they wanted to.

As a alternative, to avoid any charges of hypocrisy, LA should stop using Arizona power for the duration of their boycott.

I'll leave it up to them to decide if they'd rather have their power cut off for six hours per day or if they'd prefer to receive 90 volts all day long. :=)

reviewing hundreds of internal contracts for any trace of Arizona to see whether it's prudent to cut ties.

so they only boycott things they don't really need...

that's a real moral paragon of virtue that is

I think LA better look northward to Sacramento where their own home grown incompetent state reps cannot control the budget mess facing Ca. They just may be begging Az. for help instead in the near future.
