No doubt our president believes that a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds. I feel reasonably certain that he above all doesn’t believe he possesses a little mind.
Of course, as illustrated by their 2004 presidential candidate, Democrats appear to be quite comfortable with flip-floppers. Flip-flopping may actually be an unwritten qualification for being a Dem nominee for national office.
