President Obama is having a rough go of things lately. As noted here last week, for the first time in his presidency, more Americans disapprove of Obama (48%) than approve of him (45%), according to the latest WSJ/NBC poll. And 62% say the country is headed in the wrong direction.

“The American people are right,” says Howard Davidowitz of Davidowitz & Co. A critic of Obama’s, from the start, Davidowitz refers to him as the “worst” President of his lifetime, even worse than of Jimmy Carter, based on:

The worst President in America’s lifetime; and, if he gets his way, the last President of America as we have known it.

They finally have to deal with results of their actions which is rare. I can only hope the two seasoned citizen marxists next door meltdown because their false messiah can’t deliver.

Libs know that they will be hurt along with everyone else. After November, it wouldn’t surprise me if either party called for the Presidents removal.

I have predicted that Hillary will soon come out swinging at Obama in a bid to take it from him in 2012. You know she sees an opening.

I don't defend Bush. But it's always worth noting that when the Left was busy hating Bush as the worst president ever, the deficit was $160B and unemployment was at 4.6%.

Now the deficit is something like $1.6T and unemployment is 9.8%.

If you tell me that Bush was a disaster, I'll agree. But what does that make Obama?? These leftwing pundits have got to catch on to the fact that saying "Bush was terrible" just doesn't get the job done.

This “president” is incomparable when it comes to mendacity. He shouldn’t even be listed as a president. He is trying to become a dictator.

I think the critical question is not when does he slip below some arguable threshold of support - but rather what could he possibly be holding in reserve that would allow him to rebuild support? I think the answer to that is: nothing. There is essentially an asymmetry - he had the qualities that made for a good campaign (in the context of that campaign season, against the particular opponent he drew from the GOP), but no actual leadership qualities. Which is what we have discovered. Painfully.

Actually, I’m kinda curious how Iowans perceive the current mess. Let’s say that the first primary there were to go into a serious divide with some little-known Democrat opposing President Obama...and the President lost the first part of the Iowa episode. The entire media would stand there and wonder if this was the sinking of the Titanic.

I was just thinking today how, since he is worse than Carter, we are actually in uncharted territory now. There is nobody alive who has seen a worse President of the U.S.

Agreed, but perhaps the worst thing Bush and the free-spending Republicans in Congress did was to make it possible for an Obama win and for the Dems to control both the House and the Senate. It’s hard to forgive them for that.

I was telling someone the other day that I thought this was by far W's worst legacy.
