Interesting. This kid is powerful stupid. He gets the second chances of second chances, and he still boogers it up.

Even if he didn't pull the trigger, he is still on camera with a co-defendant, which is a no-no when on federal probation. I wonder if they're contemplating violating him for a probation.

Interesting that even money and fame does not take the criminal out of the person... Seems true in way too many cases.

His brother was kicked off the VA Tech team also and he was their quarterback. I think stupid and criminality runs in the family.

Psychopaths are always psychopaths even after 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc chances.

You can take the boy outta the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto outta the boy.

Yes, but most psychopaths have a decent measure of intelligence, and use that to keep from being punished.

I think it's more likely that his brother, Marcus, did the shooting rather than Michael.

Restaurant owner says Marcus Vick left after the shooting

Seems to me that sports used to be a way out of the ghetto. Now many just bring the ghetto up to a more expensive lifestyle.

Another opportunity and life wasted...

Yea...a real shame. These athletes have it made and throw it all away. Can’t quite understand that...but...it continues to happen.

What am I missing? Early Friday morning. It is 11:15 pm Thursday night right now in Philly, isn’t it? Or is my blond taking over again.

Chalk it up to a poorly written story. The shooting occured last Thursday Night/Early Friday morning (June 24/25 I think). The police have been investigating all week, and it was initially reported that Vick wasn't involved. The police said earlier today "We didn't say that". They have yet to determine who was the shooter and if Vick was or wasn't involved in any way.

The victim (name escapes me) was one of Michael Vicks's indicted and convicted co-conspirators from his dog fighting ring. He was forbidden from associating with him specifically in the judge's sentencing order, and forbidden from associating with known felons, generally, while he's on probation (until sometime in 2012).

Aww, cute doggie!

When Vick was allowed back into the NFL, I said it was a horrible mistake. Yes, he did his time, but it did not change his character. He is still the evil thug he always was.

How long until Roger Goodall issues a statement blaming Rush Limbaugh for Vick’s involvement?

Soon, probably immediately after the statement Obama will surely release accusing the Virginia Beach police of acting stupidly.

The reason I think why it continues, is because they are so often times not held accountable by the law, or that the law isn’t severe enough to hurt them. Also, the American public has continued to support sports, though the moral decline has become extreme. I think when the fans quit watching, there might be a change.

I’ve over the last few years, abandoned all sports. Cheating, drugs, immorality, criminal behavior, poor quality, political correctness are the many factors that turned me off.
