I saw March After The March on Fox Cable News the other day and finally researched it. It looks like a neat idea that is growing in support.
Tore Dietrich is the creator of Freedom March. The Fox News Interview is HERE
The idea is simple. After the main body of the parade passes your position, immediately jump right in, following the parade with your own patriotic signs. The roads will already be blocked off so a few more minutes won't make a difference.
My guess is that typical Tea Party signs will do but ones that stress our Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence are better for this 4th of July event. Be sure to invite other bystanders to join you. If possible, have plenty of extra American flags and signs.
Our message is stronger with greater numbers.
Hope everyone has a good 4th of July.
DC Chapter Master Ping List
Looks like a great way to end a parade. Instead of just leaving, be pro-active and join in.
Please ping your lists.
“My guess” is any sign that supports real America is a typical Tea Party sign. There were 10s of thousands visible last 9-11.
I’ll be joining in at tomorrow’s parade.
Good deal.
If you will be the first to jump in, have several people with you, and some flags and posters to hand out to others. That should quickly swell your ranks. But with the Tea Party movement being as it now is, people are no longer bashful about showing their patriotism.
Could you please post a quick narrative on this thread so we can also enjoy your Freedom March.
Happy 4th of July to all of you in the DC Chapter !!
