We looked at LaSalle, which is a Catholic university. He didn’t like it there and he didn’t like Philly. He ended up in the Happy Valley at Penn State.

Family members of ours have lived in center city, west philly, southeast philly and the western suburbs for generations, and I hadn't so far noticed any growing muslim presence in those areas except for the Kenny Gamble-financed mosque recently installed on south 15th st around Christian St., also a long-time black neighborhood in southwest philly.

I'm sorry you had a bad impression. Did you get down to the Independence Mall area and look at the national shrines there -- the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Penn's Landing?
