Anger, frustration on rise in Gulf disaster
CNN ^ | July 2, 2010 | Roland S. Martin

"Rev. Edwards, with a black and gold Bible in hand, said it's time for President Obama to come to small towns like Pointe a la Hache and hear firsthand from the men and women who are scraping by, angry with the bureaucracy that is preventing the resources from flowing.

He is still seething from a meeting last week with Kenneth Feinberg, the Washington, D.C. attorney President Obama appointed to oversee the $20 billion fund BP established to assist victims of the disaster.

"This guy sounds like BP all the way," said Edwards, who didn't like what he said was Feinberg's suggestion to fishermen that it's best they take $100,000 now instead of trying to sue."

"One fisherman said that Plaquemines Parish is their home and they want to see it thrive, but things are reaching a boiling point.

"What do we have to do? Wreak havoc down here to get people's attention because that's what it's coming to."

Drip, drip, drip....the total failure of Obama to contain or manage this spill is starting to be peppered in print all around this country. The anger is reaching a boiling point and is going to blow soon...just like that well has done. The US media won't be able to continue to cover and make excuses for their Messiah because the truth will not be denied. It always rises to the surface..just like oil.

Hey, they didn’t vote for the Kommunist Kenyan Kaliph in large enough numbers, so he leaves them to twist in the wind.

He’s a girly man. It’s just like a spoiled brat schoolgirl, or pansy-boy, to get vindictive and nasty.

All 0bamao would do would be to pretend to be concerned and pose for a photo op.

The time when leadership and action on his part could've made a difference has passed. Of course he wouldn't know leadership if it bit him in the butt, and besides he could care less about the people on the Gulf Coast.

The sooner more people wake up and realize this vermin is EVIL, the better.

I agree and so do growing numbers of people on the coast and in this heartland. The only people that still ‘believe’ in Obama appear to work in our media,in Hollywood and the DNC.

OK, so anger “blows”... what does that mean, really? what are they going to do? Not pay taxes? Well, no income no taxes.

And from what we are reading, a lot of these folks worked in an underground cash economy and paid no taxes anyway, and are angry BP won’t give them cash with no income verification from their last year’s tax forms

d.oh.

I am betting many of these folks voted for this obamalord putz, after all, and will continue to elect democrats and assorted idiots

sow = reap

The Rasmussen poll today has 0 at -20. Polls bounce around, but as you noted, even the MSM is starting to crack.

It’s hard to imagine the rage seething on the Gulf Coast. I spoke with a man the other day who lives on the Florida/Alabama line near the beach. He told me it’s gone way past who anyone voted for- everyone is furious at BP and Obama. His sense is the government is incompetent and that BP is unable/unwilling to do what must be done because the cost is beyond comprehension.

It’s getting worse and the conspiracy theories abound- as they always do when people aren’t being told the truth.

I don’t disagree with you at all. I think the interesting thing is that many of these same people that voted for Obama probably cheered when they heard about the 20 billion dollar slush fund. They are now learning a painful lesson...government is doing a worse job of assessing and paying claims than BP was doing and it’s only going to get worse.

That part of the state is very conservative. They did NOT vote for the zer0. If you remember the first townhall where Sebelius was confronted was from this area. Remember the man who said that it would be a cold day in hell before he let them socialize his country?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXgHNX_uZ2E&feature=player_embedded

When they say things are going to blow, just keep in mind that they know how to dispose of the evidence without a trace.

Not all of these people are tax evaders. Many are losing way more than what BP is paying.

Eventually its going to dawn on these knuckle-heads that their pres. is a small, cold, petulant child. He’s cares not a whit about them or anyone else for that matter. Its all about Barry all the time. If it doesn’t fall into that ‘universe’ its not even on Barry’s radar.

When our “elite’s” sense of entitlement to rule is challenged they usually reach for the race card, but honestly I think that word weapon is about empty. The Multi-”cult” is about out of excuses and authority and will be exposed for being just another bunch of out of touch Mommy Professors and their wannabe intelectuals.

If it must happen, it must happen. The government is bringing it all on themselves.
