Oh, yah. The socialists have no interest in actually making a short term fix to a recession or a depression. They want more government control long term. That’s why Keynes avoided the question when asked what happens in the long term with debt stimulation of the economy. They never pay off the “short term” stimulus so every recession creates a never ending burden on the economy.

Recessions and depressions are the perfect excuse for government to take over more control of the economy and our lives. The socialists learned well from FDR.
