I was released on Thursday, July 1st and am now in our apartment with Gail.
We had our eval appointment at TIRR Rehab the next day which is where MD Anderson referred me and which is one of the top 4 rehab places in the country.
It’s hard...I am anxious to get strength back in my legs so I can put away the walker and stand up and walk as long as I want. Rignt now I am just too weak and have to build strength in my legs, particulalry my hips which deteriorated so much with 10 weeks in bed.
But, with God and His Son’s help, my dear beloved Savior, with the love and continued angelic help of me wounderful wife, Gail, and with the faith and prayers of hundreds, maybe thousands like you and so many others...I know I can make it.
