Planner of Munich Olympics attack dies in Syria

DAMASCUS, Syria — Mohammed Oudeh, the key planner of the 1972 Munich Olympics attack that killed 11 Israeli athletes, has died in Damascus. He was 73.

His daughter, Hana Oudeh, says her father died of kidney failure. She says he was rushed to Damascus' Andalus hospital after falling sick, and passed away on Saturday morning.

When people who commit such horrific crimes are allowed to die of old age, it is obvious why we have so many of these crimes continuing to be committed.

These are acts of war, and should be responded to with total warfare to destroy their will and ability to perpetrate these acts.

Mohammed Oudeh was captured in Paris in 1977 and the West Germans tried to extradite him to stand trial. But France claimed there was something wrong with their paperwork and before they could correct it, the French had put him on a plane to Algeria.

38 years was a long time to live in fear. I hope his living was a horrible exisitence and his death even more so.
