Yes. There is no excuse for saying the nine-year old U.S. military conflict in Afghanistan is ‘Obama’s choosing.’ 56% (15,908 votes)

No. Everyone makes mistakes. Vice President Biden has done so on numerous occasions. 29% (8,105 votes)

I don’t know. I want to hear Steele’s full explanation first. 12% (3,487 votes)

Other (leave a comment) 3% (756 votes)

Total Votes: 28,256

I don't want him to resign, because I've read positive comments that Governor Palin has made about him.

But, let's see how he responds to this whirlwind of chattering calls for resignation.

“I don’t want him to resign, because I’ve read positive comments that Governor Palin has made about him.”

Oh, don’t tell me that. Does she have to be stung by each and every scorpion individually before she understands that this particular scorpion stings?

Or is she simply unable or unwilling to see that some people are irredemable scumbags?

Typical bogus poll.

Do you think he should resign for*this*reason?

No, I think he should resign for a thousand other reasons that came up in the past.

We need to use this as an opportunity to oust this liberal wanna be and force a real conservative, someone sympathetic to and endorsed by THE Tea Party (not the Republicrat contaminated variant), into this position.

Democrats can say incredibly dumb things, because other Democrats do the same thing, and they can hide in the crowd. Republicans ARE held to a higher standard.

Steele is qualified to be Vice President (witness Biden). But he is not qualified to be Director of the Republican Party. But unfortunately he has to resign. The Republicans cannot afford the criticism of picking on a black guy. Sad but true.

I`ve long since given up on her as the “Conservative Savior” that many still delude themselves into believing she is. In my book she`s just another politician triangulating for position.

“No, I think he should resign for a thousand other reasons that came up in the past.”

You and I both, FRiend. I didn't vote at all for two reasons. First, there is no “H*** YES!” option, and second because I don't care to register to post comments explaining why I want him gone.

something like this:

No amnesty, no more illegal aliens. If they really want to become Americans, they can go home, and do the proper paperwork to become legal immigrants. He appears to have forgotten what “republican” means. Lowercase ‘r” was no typo. I am a republican, not a Republican. I vote issues and people, not party. He has lost my confidence, and I want him GONE!

Call me crazy but, I can see (maybe) what Steele was saying. The war in Afghanistan is now obama’s war, being conducted in a manner of obama’s choosing. (ie. very badly, the ROE are insane)

Curious if Palin agrees with his sentiments on guns? He should be fired for that alone!

Steele on guns: “Society should draw lines. What do you need an assault weapon for, if you’re going hunting? That’s overkill.”

Hint to Steele.....the 2A is NOT about hunting. Effing moron.

I'm really curious who the Cheneys want to replace Steele with. Afterall, Dick Cheney ENDORSED Meg Whitman, of allllll people!!

I suspect that they probably have a person in mind to replace Steele who despises Governor Palin.

“Republicans cannot afford the criticism of picking on a black guy.”

I don’t believe that at all. Steele is a RINO and a jerk. Just who would complain if he got tossed? (That probably won’t happen because he doesn’t have that long to go and isn’t worth the trouble.) But Republicans have to stop with the P.C. garbage.

Black and white Democrats would paint getting rid of the idiot as racist. So what? Who is going to believe that?
