I would keep Friedman, but Capitalism and Freedom. I haven't read Free to Choose.

I would have Russell Kirk, Edmund Burke, Harvey C. Mansfield.

Good choices, I would put Willmoore Kendall and Thomas Sowell on the list too.

I'm somewhat depressed that the list of major conservative authors of the 40's-60's includes the likes of Kirk, Hayek, Kendall and Friedman, compared to today's roster of Becks and Hannitys.
