Ronald Reagan showed in Rekjavik that he was willing to walk away from a bad deal. By doing so he won the cold war in one day, and he exposed "game theory" as a hollow shell.

Ronald Reagan showed in Rekjavik that he was willing to walk away from a bad deal. By doing so he won the cold war in one day, and he exposed "game theory" as a hollow shell. Did you read the article? It explicitly states that a demonstrated willingness to walk away is a sound strategy for "repeated games" such as periodic arms talks. Reagan's work at Rekjavik is a great validation of that.
