HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. During the latest episode of the battle over a sex tape showing ex-presidential candidate John Edwards being less than presidential, Judge Carl Fox stopped with a quizzical look.
Rielle Hunter, a campaign videographer with whom Edwards had an extramarital affair and a child, claims the tape is hers and wants it back from Andrew Young, the former Edwards aide who wrote a tell-all book about the politician's quest for the White House.
At a hearing in Orange County Superior Court on Wednesday, lawyers for Young argued that Hunter had no claim to it. They contended the video belonged to the Edwards campaign or his political action committee.

This guy was running for POTUS????
You honor, I stold it first so its mine.
The media even supported the lie that it was really his campaign staffer's kid.
his political ACTION committee? You can’t make this stuff up.
Just finished the tell-all book (borrowed it - didn’t buy it!).
Take home message? Freepers had this guy (Edwards) and his wife nailed from the get-go. He’s everything we thought he was except maybe a little bit more “out-there”. Total waste of skin.
The judge’s face expresses my feelings about this exactly. He needs a thought bubble that says, “WTF?” Everybody involved in this is completely shameless. That is, they have no shame, any more than a group of copulating monkeys would. The woman, Andrew Young, Edwards, the lawyers, ALL OF THEM should be put on a desert island. I feel very sorry for the judge. He probably feels like he needs to take a shower after being in the courtroom with that bunch.
"I'm John Edwards and I support this chakra massage."
The MSM and the usual liberal suspects supported and covered for Edwards right up until the evidence became incontrovertible. Then they vented their outrage at him for staying in the game long enough to help sink Hillary.
This is why there will be no political rehabilitation for him, unlike all those other dem politicians who can’t keep their pants zipped.
John Edwards and a woman having sex on tape? Sounds like a
lesbian scene to me.
The media had chosen Barack as the candidate long before this became public knowledge. The media had already turned on the Clintons, airing greivances they’d withheld over 18 long years.
The media kept Edwards viable in the primaries long enough to force Hillary into a three way race for delegates.
The Enquirer, which broke the story, is owned by “Friends of Bill”.
I don't know if it could replace water-boarding, but I'd tell every secret I know if it prevent my HAVING to watch this tape.
Johnny was bucking to become Barky’s attorney general.
Well...maybe bucking is the wrong word.
The media is mentally deranged or comatose.
They must be sleeping on the job....otherwise, how can they sleep at night?
They’ve had their eyes on the prize for 40 years+.
They were proud to declare “we’re all socialists now!” and that a “velvet revolution” had occurred when Obama was sworn in.
They have wanted these policies for a long time. Hillary, Kerry, Obama... anyone would’ve pushed the same objectives.
But they needed to boost jaded demographics among Democrats (e.g. minorities who either normally wouldn’t vote or would vote Christian values over “their own financial interests”) and depress turnout among conservatives (John McCain was never in it to win it but he believed his own hype that those sponsoring his campaign in 2006 wanted to see him win, and not just the GOP nomination).
If there’s a “money shot,” I don’t wanna see it!
“John McCain was never in it to win it but he believed his own hype....”
If McClown was playing an ego game, and I tend to agree with your opinion, what was Palin’s gameplan? Don’t tell me that she was not aware of his impending failure.
Palin was energetic. But McCain had to be dragged back into it time and time again by people who weren’t even HAPPY with his nomination but at least knew Obama’s agenda was far to the left and more disruptive of the American way of life.
McCain’s putting up much more struggle in his bid to keep his Senate seat even from “fellow” Republicans.
Mostly just at work.
Then, McCain picked Sarah Palin. (actually, he didn't. Let's just say someone in his org. chose her)
It became apparent that this was a mistake because they thought her lack of experience and exposure to the general public would ensure a lack of support. Then Edwards self-aborted. Now they were really in a fix.
So.... they used the RACE card to trump the QUEENS.
Now if only there was a part for a sex poodle in the film.

The broadcast networks are hurting for viewers. Thanks BarnacleCenturion.
So was Mr. "second chakra" Algore. Yikes. They make Bill clinton seem tame by comparison. No, wait, sorry, they don't.
Sleazy politicians. The first thing they do when their political career is in ashes is get rid of the wife.
The Pravda Media’s hands are full propping up the 3-ring circus tent that is the Obama administration.
They take pot shots at Palin on their coffee breaks.
Did Chris Dodd and Ted Kennedy make any sandwich videos?
Citizen representation? I think not!!!
Al Gore, John Edwards, Bill Clinton, Chris Dodd, Ted Kennedy, Eliot Spitzer, (et al), might be the reason why good, decent men do not run for elective office: being tarred with the same brush!
It might also bode well for conservative women on the ballot.
