Advance in Quest for HIV Vaccine (neutralizes 91% of HIV strains)

...In the latest development, U.S. government scientists say they have discovered three powerful antibodies, the strongest of which neutralizes 91% of HIV strains, more than any AIDS antibody yet discovered. They are now deploying the technique used to find those antibodies to identify antibodies to influenza viruses....

Lemme guess...

The 9% that it is ineffective against are the strains that infect 90% of the people that have HIV. Right?

I hope they find an HIV vaccine-- Just so the homosexuals and other perverts will quit cawing and prancing and shrieking all day and the remnants of sane people in big cities can go about their business relatively undisturbed.

This is great news. I do wish they would just hurry it up and allow human trails much quicker than the snalis pace they currently follow..
