Kentucky Coal Miners Strike Back at Ashley Judd [classic smackdown of PDS sufferer Judd]
Michelle Malkin.com ^ | 07/08/10 | Doug Powers

Posted on 07/08/2010 10:00:20 PM PDT by KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle

Last month, in a speech to the National Press Club, actress Ashley Judd took a break from taking on Sarah Palin and set her sights on business practices in her home state.

Judd referred to the mountain top removal of coal in Kentucky as “environmental genocide,” called the process “the state-sanctioned, federal government supported, coal industry operated, rape of Appalachia,” and said the miners should be retrained to take “better jobs” (unfortunately the “vacuous actor” career field is full up at the moment).

On Wednesday, the coal industry sponsored a golf tournament at StoneCrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, and launched a return salvo by way of a poster displayed at the tourney:

Her hus band is a race car driver which is an environmentally wasteful sport emitting exponentially huge amounts of CO 2 including shipping cars and parts to races. Stupid b*tch.

Judd is one of many artists, including musicians Dave Matthews and EmmyLou Harris, who have been outspoken about the controversial mining practice.

I wish these carpetbagging "mew-sicians" whose comments are not wanted in the places they are supposedly protesting for the benefit of, would just slink back into their holes. This poster is, if anything, TOO dignified for Judd.

Nothing says, “my acting career is in a slump”, like taking your top off for the general public.

Her husband must race just to try and flee from his wife’s embarrassing and ignorant statements.

"Rob Perks, campaign director for the environmental group National Resources Defense Council, said he found the poster of Judd to be "terribly derogatory and sexist."

Mr. Perks needs to direct his comment to the person who posed for the poster.

I wish celebrities would just stay on their acid-trips and leave the real America alone.

“terribly derogatory and sexist.”

What a bonehead. The woman posed for the photo. No one forced Ashley Judd to stand in front of a camera and take her top off.

“Mountaintop removal coal mining simply would not happen in any other mountain range in the United States,” Judd said. “It is utterly inconceivable that the Smokies would be blasted, the Rockies raised, the Sierra Nevadas flattened, that bombs the equivalent to Hiroshima would be detonated every single week for three decades.”

- Ashley Judd

Need I say more?

This is something only the fever brained left can pull off. A woman poses half naked. Some men say - Look, she’s half naked. A castrato male tells the other males they’re being derogatory and sexist. But then, I suppose if the men said that she shouldn’t have posed half naked in the first place, the castrato male would retort that it’s her body and she can do what she wants with it.

I bet Perks tinkled down his leg when he saw a picture of Obama without a shirt. A definitely girlish squealing moment.

Liberal, by definition, includes the act of being hypocritical.

Here is a classic example. I recently noticed a bumper sticker on a rather large, gas guzzling vehicle which read,

“GAS SUCKS. RIDE A BIKE”

It has always perplexed me as to why an entertainer would alienate half of her potential market. In the case of Country-Western, the percentage could even be higher.

It is too bad that folks mistake fame or notoriety for some type of expertise on environment/science/politics. And that applies to both libs and conservatives.

She looks kind of skinny to me, but cosmetic surgery can do a great deal for folks.

Shouldn’t she get SoddomWood to stop using electricity in protest? Certainly she doesn’t use any in her Mansion.
