Good riddance. Go away Ron Paul (and your supporters) and don't come back. We don't need your stinkin votes.

I will have to review and see what he said about Haiti.

In any event, I would have trouble voting for McCain, the man who led the fight against the Marriage Amendment on the Senate floor.

I wish he would just knock it off. He hasn’t got a snowball’s chance in you know what of winning...such a smarmy, creepy little man. You’d think he’d put his country ahead of his personal ambition and realize a fiscal conservative who CAN win is better than 4 more years of dragging our country deeper into debt and socialism. Of course that could be what he wants anyway.

Dude, relax, we know that you don’t want him to run, especially as a third party.. you are on friendly ground here. You are a noob so you should understand, exposing and mocking the cult of Paul is somewhat of a sport here. His little cult has these delusions of grander about him being some sort of perfect Conservative the way Fred Phelp’s followers think he is some sort of perfect Christian. Most of us have dealt with him for decades before this past election cycle and know his real game. Don’t take these articles too seriously lest you get so obsessive, you accidentally become one of his.

(Shrugs). I could be wrong, but I think it's highly unlikely that Ron Paul will mount a serious bid in 2012 at all, let alone a Third Party bid. He's simply getting too old for the office.

If he runs again, he'll almost certainly run as a Republican; but I think it's very unlikely he'll run. At this point, I prefer one of only three gubernatorial candidates endorsed by Ron Paul's PAC in 2006 as a "libertarian Republican": Governor Sarah Palin. And that's assuming that SHE runs, as even that is (at this point) by no means certain.

Oh God, please no, not again! He is unelectable and hurts the Conservative cause. The country doesn’t need this now.

Luke 4:24 And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

Thank you for proving the point that his followers are like a religious cult and they raise Paul to the status of profit or messiah.

Ron Paul will do anything he can to derail the GOP and help the Democrats.

He's a POS for even considering helping to give us four more years of Obama.

Anyone can be a prophet, all one has to do is tell the truth. Even the High Priest Caiaphas prophesied:

John 11
49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

Don't you believe in truth?

Just because you have some conservative views, doesn’t make you someone to vote for. He’s got zero experience, had zero chance of derailing Obama (No, I didn’t like McCain, voted against Obama), and has nutcase opinions like this one. I hope you do more homework next time: http://www.newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwin564.htm

Wonder if he’ll ask Ralph Nader to run with him? Cynthia McKinney? How about Chuck Baldwin?

Well, if he does, then we can probably rest assured that Obama will be a two term President rather than the one termer he seems to be destined to be.

I would love to see cut and run run. He would split the anti-American liberal vote. No true Republican would ever vote for anything like this wacko.

What he does isn’t prophetic, it is ‘genius for the obvious’. A profit isn’t someone who predicts the sun will rise tomorrow, it is someone who predicts it won’t. Anyone with even a cursory knowledge of Hayek or Friedman would make the same call and many, many have. The only difference is Paul makes his proclamations like he is the only one making it and his followers treat it like a prophetic vision given form on-high.

What he does isn’t prophetic

I stand by my definition: telling the truth is prophetic. It does not matter whether or not the truth is obvious. Ron Paul has exclaimed that the emperor has no clothes early, often, outspokenly, sometimes presciently and without fear of the consequences. I think that makes him worthy of at least a listen, even when, as I said, I disagree with him.

I also think there is a little bit of genius in running for President to try get ones message out and not merely to stroke ones ambition. I attribute some of Rand Paul's success to his father's worldwide notoriety.

Great, so Ron Paul is trying to keep Obama in power now.

One destructive term isn’t enough?

Look I know a lot of Freepers dont like Dr. Paul but he is the ONLY candidate who will save America from socialism. He knows the truth about how socialism and the FED caused the financial crisis. He will end the FED and bring America back to the Constitution and liberty. That’s why I support Dr. Paul. I dont support cut and run or ending American alliance with Israel but we need to be more focused on how the FED is running America towards socialism.
