Muslims believe in their religion. Christians don’t.
On what course was the AF1 when it overflew Manhattan? Bee line to Mecca, in reverse? Taking a bead on mosque location plans? Anybody know?
It’s my understanding this is how Islam swings.
You defeat an adversary, and then you build a mosque on the ruins, thus declaring it defeated. The mosque remains, while history moves around. Voila! Muslim forever triumphant. This is what we declare if we allow a mosque to be built at Ground Zero. I don’t know how it can be stopped. It is beyond me.
Has anyone been fasting and praying about this? If you want good to triumph over evil in this instance, I think some serious prayer warriors are called for. Look how many abortion centers have closed over the years due to consistent prayer and a continuous peaceful witness against evil. I think at a very minimum, saying a prayer for God’s will to be done every time we pass a mosque, should be standard operating procedure.

While I don't disagree, there really shouldn't be a “gold standard” for that. “The asbestos standard” maybe? Don't get me wrong, it's a neat element, but it has become the poster child for expensive fiascoes.

If I recall from my light reading about Islam, once a place is declared Muslim held, it is forever considered part of the Islamic Empire and Islamists are justified in doing anything to retain or regain control of that part of the empire, and subjecting the people to dhimmitude. Don’t know if building a mosque is enough, but who is to say? There aren’t any single authorities on Islam to say yay or nay. (Of course, Obama has already declared the United States is one of the largest Muslim countries.)
If America allows them to build the ‘Mosque de Triumph’ then our surrender is complete. There will be little hope of anything but civil war as the remaining Chrisitans fight against forced conversion.
