The military scrambled two F-16 fighters jets Friday morning after two small private aircraft violated restricted air space related to President Barack Obama's visit to Las Vegas, Nevada, the North American Aerospace Defense Command said.
Both planes that violated the restricted airspace landed at nearby airports and were met by authorities, NORAD said.

Arcadia National Park is probably on China's list of desirable properties they want for interest on our debt to them. The Obama's are probably just checking it out before it gets clear-cut and strip-mined.

You’re right. The point of all that “decorum” that previous users of the National Aircraft had was not to “be white” as some may think.
It was to say that they respected the privilege that the American people had temporarily given them.

I'm pretty sure a F-16 can get to or a little below 100 kts. A speed well below the cruise of a C210 which is almost twice that. Any modern fighter could easily orbit any propeller driven GA aircraft horizontally or vertically!

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is to use two aircraft for interceptions.
