They don’t have “this much” power.

The administration could have easily castigated the students for being intolerant and ignorant. The brats simply created an opportunity for what is apparently an organ of the Left.

I'm actually not surprised by this development. Sooner or later we can expect worse; the forcing of Churches of all denominations to affirm and accept homosexuality. Great Britain is moving in this direction; we can't be far behind. The Gaystapo has expressed this more than once as their great prize - I believe, more so than same-sex "marriage." If they can subvert and overcome Christianity, they would be completely victorious.

Consider that even after the Boy Scouts won a US Supreme Court case to freely practice their beliefs and freedom of association, they are still under vicious attack by the sexual anarchists, who diligently seek ways around the clear constitutional law to demonize and penalize this once universally venerated institution. They will do no less with the Church.
