Sorry—don’t think that in 2012 Americans will be stupid enough to elect another person who is in over their heads. While Palin is far superior to Obama, I don’t think she is Presidential material. Quitting as Govenor of Alaska (before finishing her first term) was the death knell for her political career.

That’s what they already said about her a year ago.....and now many people are backing away from that prediction...HA!

Can you at least try to take what she said at face value honesty and sensible if you look at the bigger picture: What would be a more effective way to have a strong voice against Obama's ram-rodding Socialism in BEFORE November - her sitting as Governer when death by 1000 cuts or her doing what she's doing and being a loud 1 of 3 voices (Sarah, Rush, Glenn Beck) against Bamster.

Are you saying she's ineffective and a wasted effort at the moment? Have you looked around at the media coverage of her?

Take a step out of the forest so you can see the trees staring at you.

Well, I guess your pronouncement settles the matter. I’ll call Sarah and personally tell her you have nixed the idea. She’ll drop out immediately on your word. Now exactly how long will it take for you to burrow back to Dummie Underground and make your report????

Oh year, horrible decision to make in politics. Her Facebook posts are considered news. She's built a small fortune to campaign with that she couldn't have done otherwise. She doesn't have to devote time or money to political based lawsuits. She's free to travel anywhere she wants. She's gaining support by endorsing and helping others of like mind to get elected.

Horrible decision for a politician.

I'd much rather see her head up the RNC.

First, America IS stupid enough. They also elected Dubya (a governor in a state which in Constitutionally limited), Clinton (enough said) and Obama.

Second, agreed, she is cooked for resigning as Governor.

Whatever. She is now the biggest political force in politics...BECAUSE she left that position. Where would she be without leaving? Mired in 30 more ludicrous lawsuits that are costing her and the state millions.

So whom do you think we have who is presidential material?

I don’t buy the ‘Palin is a quitter’ line for a minute. Nobody who has seen what she was put through in ‘08, and how she bounced back to be so positively influential in the last two years should fall for that.

Quitting as Govenor of Alaska (before finishing her first term) was the death knell for her political career.

Of course, staying on as Governor of Alaska and feeding herself to the leftist frivolous ethics complaint shredder would have been the death of her political career, her economic future and her mental well-being.

Not to mention the fact that any mud they slung at her would taint the Alaskan republicans and national conservatives in general.

Sometimes even Patton and MacArthur had to retreat, temporarily.

Isn't it smarter to survive and fight than submit and die?

Death knell, really? Sorry, this is an old talking point with not much meaning in the present.

That is BS! She 'quit' to save the state of Alaska from the bankrupting lawsuits the kooks were filing one after another against her. Alaska law loophole allowed for them to do that to her and the kooks didn't care what it cost the state of Alaska. They just hated Palin!
