The results of the Washington Post/ABC News poll are a 180-degree turn from the start of Obama’s presidency 18 months ago, with nearly 60% of those polled saying they lack faith in the commander-in-chief. In January 2009, 60% said they were confident in his decision-making.

Despite the negative poling data, the writer is still trying to make the data not so damning by comparing it to GW's. It seems to me that most Democrats will support Obama & Democrat policies no matter how much Obama & Friends trash our country. Thus Obama will always receive favorable ratings from this group. On the other hand, Republicans & Conservatives are less likely to drink the Kool-aid. If they don't like something a politician is doing, they will say so. During Bush's last year in office, most Republicans could never say that they were happy because they were disgusted that nothing was being done to secure our borders. This was reflected in the polls. At the same time, the anti-war message and attacks on GW were being loudly played on a daily basis by the MSM & their friends on the Left. This too was reflected in the polls. It is no big surprise that GW's poling numbers were low. Meanwhile, a good question to ask would be which president do Americans prefer. Despite my frustrations with GW, I would say without a doubt he was a far better president than Obama, and that our country was far better off during his administration.
Obama the deceiver is as American as I am.
Just imagine what these numbers would look like if the MSM was not so "in the tank."
Our southern coastlines are being destroyed by the incompetence of an administration that doesn't seem to care and we know what is painted on Lindsay Lohan's fingernails. Our country is lost, and if we don't come up with a strong leader, there is no hope of getting it back.

i never had any... and i’ve since moved into complete opposition to the point of civil disobedience.
my main contention is... i refuse to work 66% of my life providing for someone else’s mortgage instead of paying the mortgage/food/etc for myself or extended family (those that might have issues covering the bills)
why should i bend to their demands that i forfeit 66% of what i earn so they can give it directly to people they favor?
why the hell should i do that? i wouldn’t willingly hand over my wallet to strangers... why would i do this??
that’s what it boils down to.
Right now we need to be focusing on 2 November, 2010.
This year we need to throw as many of the RATs and RINOs out as we possibly can.
In 2012 we can take more of them out, but will still have our work cut out for us..
