Dem Congressman Claims 'Unaware' of New Black Panther Case
big government ^ | 7/13/10 | Larry O'Connor

The story of the Obama Justice Department’s questionable handling of the New Black Panther voter intimidation case of 2008 keeps gaining momentum and has taken a new turn today.

As congress is in recess, town hall meetings are taking place in districts all over America. Not unlike last year’s environment with frustrated and concerned constituents wanting answers about the pending ObamaCare legislation, this summer’s town halls include citizens asking their representatives about the curious actions of Eric Holder and his team at Justice.

Witness the latest home video featured at Breitbart.tv:

Notice how the room erupts with anger and disbelief not at the congressman’s position, but over the fact that he claims to be ‘unaware’ of the case being dismissed.

Bad Brad. This is the kind of representation we have in my district.

Maybe you know the answer....It’s my understanding that though Obama dropped the civil case, it was Bush who did not move forward on a criminal case....any idea why?

Reason he doesnt know about the Panther case is that he never watches FOX, the only channel that has covered this outrage.

Let this be a lesson to CongressRATS about media bias. If they want to know what their constituents are concerned about they need to visit real media.

Corruption in the old media has allowed this outrage to be ignored. The congressman just might be telling the truth??

Bush not moving forward is a smokescreen.

The election was in early November 08 and Bush & Co. were out 10 weeks later.

It was under President Bush's administration that the charges were brought against King Samir Shabazz, Jackson, and the New Black Panther Party. It was under the Obama administration that the case was completely dropped.

I posted links to videos that explains exactly what happened.

To see those videos Click Here

There are 4 YouTube videos. 3 with Megan Kelly Fox News interviewing the man Adam who was involved in prosecuting the case and 1 video of King Samir Shabazz. Each video is about 10 min.

I am just reading about it now. (Cynthia Tucker) The Dems are all over this. Media matters is saying that the Bush administration reduced this to civil charges and compared it to not going after a Minute Man on "Similar charges".

http://blogs.ajc.com/cynthia-tucker/2010/07/12/bush-doj-decided-new-black-panthers-no-major-case/

However, there is a piece (by mediate.com) that points out that in May of 2009 there was an injunction against Shabazz and claims there was a great deal of misreporting.

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/new-black-panther-chief-malik-shabazz-on-king-samirs-kill-white-babies-comment/

So, the truth- a difficult thing to come by is elusive at this point. Why didn't Bush go after Shabazz? He was probably gun shy and wanted to hand it off to the next administration.

Why doesn't Holder go after Shabazz? My speculation only- Because of the political fallout in his own 'minority' support groups. That, and perhaps some blatant bigotry.

Brad Sherman must be either a liar or an idiot. Most likely he is both.

These congressturds are probably thinking: “Why do these have to be so AWARE? Why can’t they just be the submissive, pliant minions we Democrats want?”

Clinton cleaned house at the DOJ and hired mostly all new lawyers.. Bush kept almost all the lawyers Clinton hired at DOJ.. Then gave Sandy Berger a hand slap for in your face sedition at the national archives.. and now this from Obama..

Looks like a shadow government is in place.. and has been in place for a good while.. maybe a decade or two.. Because it appears both Bushs, Clinton and Obama are Progressives..

Sherman is married to Lisa Nicola Kaplan, a foreign affairs officer for the U.S. State Department.

I don’t mind going to Brietbart, but as a favor, if you must excerpt, at least give pertinent details in the excerpt? Like the NAME of the guy you’re talking about? Brad who???? lol

My understanding is that the Black Panthers were convicted at a trial in which they refised to show up. They were convicted in absentia.
Probably another attitude of’the white man doesn’t hold any law over me’.

The group was awaiting sentencing & during that time frame, Holder dropped the charges.

I don’t know how ‘charges can be dropped’ when there is already a conviction & in one part of the case- one guy convicted admitted to what they did.

This administration is running a ‘Justice Department” which is anything but.

They are creating chaos over everything.

Here is a good explanation as to why this ‘Bush’s fault’ meme is faulty:

Ah. And after looking at J. Christian Adams' interview with Fox for a moment, the case (that was dropped) was brought in January of 2009.

Interesting that it was brought just as Bush is leaving, or Obama is coming in. LOL!

So, Bush, as a parting 'gift' to the DemocRATs either instructed his DOJ people to bring the case right then, or the DOJ folks brought it themselves as Obama came into office! Ha!

Talk about dirty tricks! Perhaps this was a 'time bomb' for the Obama administration, designed to attack their Justice Dept. Either way the Obamsky's lose. If they prosecute the case they're 'Uncle Toms', and if they don't their 'bigots'. J. Christian Adams doesn't resign when Bush leaves, no- he waits to see how the case develops, then resigns and goes public when the Obamskys drop the case. Now he is the 'brave patriot' going public, -oh and by the way he now works for Pajamas Media. I am going to wait for the book to come out. -Just around election time.

I need to buy more popcorn.
