So you’re supporting homosexual/same sex marriage? In the fake name of “states’ rights”?

And you think that most people attending Tea Parties think the same way? You took polls or what? How do you know this?

Or are you just hoping this is the case?

You’re a social liberal and always stand up for perversion and immorality.

That’s the way to ruination and leftist tyranny.

Social liberals wanting to claim the "Tea Party" movement as their own. This debate continues. Thinking that the fedgov can be "values neutral" is as fantastical as thinking that education can be "values neutral". There is no "neutral" with values or morals. There is real morality - the moral absolutes as enjoined in all the religions of the world, and on the other side there is immorality, as espoused by the feminists, homosexualists, abortionists, porn afficiandos, NAMBLA, the "sex positive" crowd, Planned Parenthood, the various death cultists who want euthanasia, and the like.

Neutral ground? There is none. It's a mere excuse for standing on the side of immorality.

I understand the tea party folks to be a movement and not an organization. If it’s become an organization, then someone has coopted it’s name and incorporated. There are no leaders....or followers for that matter. If they’re primarily angry about the over-reach of big government, and that’s what brought them together, then fine. As the article says, there might be all types inside such an amorphous movement.

HOWEVER, as soon as it gets to supporting candidates for office, true conservatives will stand firm: pro-life, pro-gun, pro-God, pro-family, pro-morals, pro-fiscal common sense, pro-America, pro-national defense, pro-military, pro-American exceptionalism.

I’ll not support, and I’ll actively work against, anyone who isn’t the above, and especially pro-life.

I’m in the mood for kicking *ss.

Very much so.

BTW, this Atlas Stalled guy is merely a blog pimper. Check his posting history. Posts from his blog many times a day and rarely if ever makes a comment.

I didn’t check the nature of his articles though, maybe tomorrow if there are more a**es to kick on this thread.

I’ve had it with leftists posing as “conservatives”, liber(al)tarians and hypocrites who try to make it that conservatives have to give up their social values and become slime in order to win elections.

A. It’s a lie, socially “moderate” (ie leftist) Republicans almost always lose big time.

B. It’s a sick fantasy in their own mind or they know it’s a lie, one or the other; as there is no such thing as a social leftist/fiscal conservative. It’s like being half human and half starfish. Can’t be done. Unnatural. A dream, a fantasy. Never works.

This country was founded on the principles of virtue as delineated in all religion - and it just so happens that the founders of this country were informed by the Judeo Christian morality, and only a people who value those principles can have this form of government. This form of government requires a population with self-control and respect for self and others.

On the other hand, a population of immoral animals creates hell on earth which soon devolves into chaos and crime, which then require a huge fedgov to take care of the feral humans, and then jackboots on everyones’ neck because so many ferals are totally out of control.

Anyone who doesn’t see this is smoking way too much dope.

I agree. And anyone who claims that the Tea Party people are against morality, are for same sex marriage, etc etc - is lying and has their own agenda.

You don't know what you're talking about. The Tea Party came about in response to Obama's bailouts, stimulus and health-care takeover. Most Tea Party members are involved because they want to see government spending and interference with private industry rolled back. I realize folks like you would love to use the Tea Party to push your own social agenda and get your pet issues some attention, but that's not what many members signed on for.

To butch up this thread, an Old Spice commercial. Starring Neil Patrick Harris.

It's funny Nathan Lane was in a sit com "Encore Encore" playing a raving womanizing heterosexual, and the left got all upset. But Harris does it in "How I met your mother" and no one gets irate.

The Tea Party needs to be more than just a Libertarian Party by another name. It's about more than just fiscal irresponsibility and overbearing taxation...for proof, just look at all the Gadsden flags at any and every Tea Party.

Fiscal issues aren't the only things driving us hell for leather down the road to ruin. Social issues, like homo marriage and adoption, will tear us apart as surely as the national debt. It may take a little longer, because it takes more guts to oppose them than it does Cap and Tax, Commiecare, etc. I hope Tea Partiers across the nation have the guts for that fight, because it's coming, if and when we get our fiscal house in order.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

I personally wish they had defined obscenity as anything involving sexuality that exceeds the boundaries of monogamous heterosexual sex.

Excellent.

I've been around FR for 6 years and for the life of me I can not figure why the liberturdians are allowed to peddle their filth and team up with the left on every social issue and plaster it all over the site..

I'm tired of fighting.. there are more perversion advocates and leftists perverts disguised as libertarians on FR now than there were 6 years ago, its an exercise in futility.

Me thinks the morally depraved count their chickens before they hatch. More propaganda from the leftists. The homosexual agenda and the left are tied at the hip -one can not exist without the other -the victims and the community organizers. The homosexual agenda and big government are one in the same. The tea party may not have a position on homosexual marriage; however, by default a successful tea party with individual rights triumphant will equate to a failed collective socialist agenda -a failed homosexual agenda. It will be back to the closets for the left...

When someone does a poll of actual Tea Party attenders, then we’ll know.

No poll is necessary for God. It is only the left that polls and researches to push collectivist agenda as the collectivist agenda is but a moral relativist political effort -a big tent of victims seeking ‘justice’ from the oppressors. The very premise of the tea party -individual rights and an overthrow of big government tyranny that seeks to redistribute is that of unalienable rights endowed from our Creator... A successful tea party necessarily equates to a failed leftist collective and as such a failed homosexual agenda...
