The billboard comparing President Barack Obama to Adolph Hitler was covered up this morning.
The sign, located in the 600 block of South Federal Avenue, was ordered and paid for by the North Iowa Tea Party organization, according to the billboard company.

Well, at least they’re not wearing government uniforms as they cover it up . . . yet.

I just find it interesting that no one is upset at the comparison of Obama to Lenin — just Hitler.

Tea Partiers I've met are not racist, and they are very rational decent people with their heads screwed on right, who above all things love this country and want to preserve what the Founders started. Billboards and signs like this just excite the media, and will always do more harm to our cause, than good.
Yeah, WHO covered it up? If it was the group who put up the billboard - that's OK. BUT, if it was someone else, HOW DARE THEY??

I have to agree with you there much better ways to use the billboard, like “how is that hope and change going for you” and such. It is serious but we need to keep it as light as possible, the best way is of course is to mock The One.

Listen folks, many of the people that voted for obama are independents. You will never get them to commit to our side or theirs. So ask yourself this question....?
“ What is the problem we are trying to solve”? First and foremost is getting Obama and his ilk out of office.
Now we have all made mistakes in our life. How many people have supported a couple only to find out one of them was a nutjob from pluto? Has happened to most people. Now while that chaos is going on in the relationship, most people do not want to get involved because they feel embarrassed they backed the loser. Meanwhile in the background there is someone you know that warned you or seemingly had great hesitation to the relationship. That person was ignored. You may have ignored that persons fears and now you have lost face.
Most people do not like admitting when they have made a mistake. Especially on the scale of this magnitude. They have worn obama shirts, bumper stickers, and gave money to the guy.
Now put yourself in their position for a second. How likely is it that they will be willing to fix their mistake if we shove the dog crap in their nose and say...” See I told you, dumb Sh!t!” They aren’t going to admit it. Thus not going to fix it.
However what if we created a space for people to step into that allows group face saving and accountability ...?
What if their was a billboard campaign that doesn’t have hitler on it but something like this....
” Okay let’s face it, we were fooled with Obama and the Leftist agenda” Now what are we going to fix it?”
What this does is opens a belief that “You weren’t the only ones, now lets fix it and get this mistake in our past”
Understand this is aimed at independent voters whom are feeling humiliated by their action. If we create a space of neutral ground and face saving I feel like it would be far easier to unite in “ Fixing or reversing the problem” together rather than finger pointing at the people that know they screwed up.
Our pride of being right can cause us to really screw up a lot of potential voters for us.
I would encourage everyone that advertises to create face saving messages and then an exit for those people to go through. I think that is what most people would have.... “ If you dont shove it in my face, just tell me how I fix what I did” people will respond.

Look at his sick pedophile communist (Davis) “mentor” who had his ear and who-knows-what-else when he was a vulnerable teenager.
In my view, Hitler may have been mentally healthier than zero whose mind is not only twisted, but is clouded by extensive drug use.
Hitler was much better orator and didn’t need teleprompters.

Kent Beatty, the general manager of the company that owns the billboard, says a North Iowa Tea Party representative called Tuesday night and asked that the sign in downtown Mason City be removed.
Beatty says his company replaced the sign Wednesday morning with a public service announcement.

Well if it’s publicity you want, they sure got it. The problem is that it is not very good for the North Iowa Tea Party’s branding to feature Adolf Hitler. Perhaps Lenin and Stalin or Lenin and Mao. True, Mao and Stalin probably are each responsible for as many or even more deaths than Hitler, but Hitler has such a toxic image.

The billboard is attempting to highlight Obama’s socialist leanings. That is a fair enough goal.
Perhaps it will energize some folks on the right. But those folks do not need much energizing; they already know what Obama is all about.
But consider the folks in the center, the people who actually hold the electorial balance of power in this country.
Many will see the billboard as an attempt to link Obama to two of the very worst murderers in history. And the mainstream media will help them reach that conclusion.
So what’s the overall result here? Some on the right will get a bit of amusement.
But there will be many in the center who will be repulsed. Obama will get a lot of sympathy from these decent people!
They will not drift to the right as they might otherwise do.
So overall, this billboard hurts the conservative cause. Badly.
For those who are still smirking over the billboard, don’t kid yourself about it’s long-term effects. It’s a great recruiting tool for the left.

The Republican game plan for 2010 is to surrender to whatever the Congressional dems can get votes for and try not to scare any soccer moms before Nov. An alleged T Party group in Iowa has erected a bill board comparing Obama to Hitler and Lennin. I find it odd that this happened at the same time as the Media, the Administration, The NAACP are all screaming that the T Party is a white racist hate group.
I suspect that the “T Party” group in Iowa is a false flag operation by the demonicrats If it is not they are guilty of malignant stupidity.

Why the outcry? The billboard is truthful. Our illustrious leader, and the democrats that support him, share a strong similarity to the two socialists on either side of him.
