Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer appeared on Brian Kilmeade's radio show where he discussed Howard Kurtz' recent profile of him in the Washington Post.
In the profile, Kurtz wrote, "Hemmer is supposed to kick off the straight-news stretch of Fox's daytime schedule at 9 a.m. But the bookings on the two-hour program, and sometimes the story selection, tilt markedly to the right. The first solo guest on every show but one, from June 1 through July 2, was a Republican or conservative."
"I think viewers need to understand...how many phone calls [our bookers] make every day trying to get Democratic lawmakers to come on our program," Hemmer said on the show. "It is not without effort. We welcome anyone on our program. Nancy Pelosi? Harry Reid? Here's the red carpet, man...Listen, our door is wide open. To anyone in the Democratic Party who wants to come on and share their views on 'America's Newsroom.' Come on, we welcome you."
Megan Kelly has been ON FIRE recently!!
You and Citizen M hit the nail on the head. Well presented.
North to alaska starred capuccine and not maureen ohara.
Well, yeah, same difference. :)
Powers has been introduced as a Fox News Contributor, which probably means shes getting paid. Which also means shell go where they tell her.
Hey, how about Fox getting Pat Caddell to host a show interviewing libs. He would be good.
Yep. I’d screw up a lot as Mr. Megyn Kelly. I tried telling her that if she HAD married me, she wouldn’t have had to change her last name. That Irish blood would have stayed pure.
She told me she just couldn’t deal with marrying someone prettier than she was. I get that a lot.
Sigh - leads to a very lonesome existance. . .
My wife has learned to deal with it, come to accept it.
