If you want to piss off a Conservative, like to him.
If you want to piss off a Liberal, just tell him the truth.

“...answering a hypothetical question on NBC’s “Meet the Press” about whether Democrats may lose their grip on power.”
DemonRATs are convinced that power is theirs by divine right, with a little d because they are Godless. What they've lost their grip on - is reality.

It’s telling that they are more upset about losing seats in Congress than about a black racist wanting to kill ‘crackers’.

Maybe Gibbels wants off the crazy train and has decided to start telling the truth.

a string of House Democrats - including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi - expressed deep frustration that Gibbs had played into Republicans' hands by answering a hypothetical question Oh please Br'er Fox, whatever you do don't throw me into that briar patch.

Well, turnabout is fair play; I lost count of the number of Republican “leaders” who were publicly wailing before the 2008 election about potential losses, leading to what were to some degree self-fulfilling prophecies.

Obama Midterm Stratergey Session:1. uh, Um. Well.
2. Dig for dirt on Republicans and Conservative opponents
3. Play Race Card.
4. Invoke / Blame George Bush

More like a loose bowel, I’d say.

Looks like Obama is runiing out of room under the bus. Gonna need a bigger bus.It is all a ploy. Lower expectations for the election, and when the Dems barely hold on to both house and senate, they can then claim substantial victory. He said it on purpose. Oldest trick in the book.

Is Gibbs a loose cannon?
I don’t think so. His remark yesterday was probably one of the most sincere, unrehearsed, adlib responses he’s made recently. IMO.

The good lie is that Gibbs and the Dems are not really sure the Republicans are doing all that good. For a number of reasons this is a set up of expectations.

Maybe the Administration WANTS the GOP to win back Congress.
Then the President will have someone to blame for everything that goes wrong over the next two years.

Anger, panic and general uncontrolled emotion — This is the normal reaction of the Left/members of the Democrat Socialist Party to the truth, especially if it is spoken outright — not shaded or accompanied by a 10-minute rationalization — by one of their own. Ya gotta love it!!

lol.
Few things suck as much as the instant one recognizes that one’s argument is not only wrong, but that it’s about to all come crashing down upon ones head.
