South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham is sending strong signals that he may again buck his party and become the lone GOP senator on the Judiciary Committee to vote for Elena Kagan to be confirmed to the Supreme Court.
In an interview with POLITICO, Graham argued that Kagan wouldnt change the ideological balance on the court since shes poised to replace the liberal John Paul Stevens, and he made the case that some of her views may actually turn out to be appealing to conservatives.
When it comes to judicial nominations, elections have consequences, Graham said. My point of view is youre replacing Justice Stevens with someone thats of like mind who may actually be more friendly to national security issues.
Graham stressed that he hasnt made up his mind since hes still reviewing her written answers to questions he submitted after her confirmation hearings, and he said he was aware that serious concerns had been raised by some of his allies, including the powerful National Rifle Association.
But asked if he were leaning toward supporting Kagan, Graham said: Well, I thought she did very well at the confirmation hearings.

What, Graham, a fellow traveler is going to vote yes on Kagan? Who would’ve guessed?
There is no excuse for that. He is throwing the rule of law under the bus and openly saying that it is for political expediency.
please someone, anyone, please publish the photo’s of Lindsey having sex with boys.
Graham is an idiot. He’s not supposed to vote based on ideological balance, or whether she’d be better or worse philosophically for us.
He’s supposed to figure out if she’d be any good as a judge, and the answer to that is so clearly NO that it wouldn’t matter if she was liberal conservative, or agnostic. She’s still a lousy choice for a supreme court justice, someone who will never really live up to constitutional principles.
Can we take up a collection to buy this person a florist shop so he’ll have something else to do other than the U.S. Senate? Maybe a hair salon or an aerobics studio?

The S.C. tea party folk OUTTA start a recall petition on this P.O.S!! Pronto!
Graham is not up for re-election until 2014.
When will the folks in SC dump this loser?
Oh gee! I am soooo shocked! I think I am going to have a heart attack and drop dead from that shock! (sarc.)
ITA! It’s just like Michael Savage said yesterday. If people think for one minute that the republicans will be any different than the dems; they are dreaming.
This stinking pomegranate's got a secured Senate seat 'til 2014. Graham and his inamorata Juan McStain have perfected the sextennial conservative feint - fool 'em just prior to the election, and bank on the voters' short memories.
“I’ve never met a fellow gay I didn’t like”.
Lissy Gramnesty is a waste of nutrients.
Uber RINO Lindsey Ping

Want on or off this ping list?

“If I had not been taught as a young man that a gentleman does not strike a lady, I’d beat the snot out of Ms. Graham.”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
That rule does not apply to a “lady” who dresses as a man and pretends to be a man so forget all that. Now that we settled that how soon can you be on this job? Do you need any kind of help with logistics, transportation, etc? That will involve quite a large amount of snot, perhaps I could arrange to have a tanker truck meet you at the site of the beating. No, wait, there is a septic tank company near where I live, the owner probably needs business, they can send one of their honey wagons.
