On being labeled as 'racist'
Politico ^ | 7/14/2010 | JENNY BETH MARTIN & MARK MECKLER

A clear pattern of behavior has emerged over the last 16 months. According to liberals, if you disagree with their thinking, and if you disagree with the Obama administration, you are not only wrong, you are a “racist.”

The latest strike by the left comes from the NAACP, which has resolved that the tea party movement is inherently “racist.” At its most simple, this is a direct attack on the First Amendment rights of millions of Americans.

The NAACP has long history of liberalism and racism.

If you are a conservative — including a conservative African-American — there is no room for you at the NAACP. If you have opinions that differ from the NAACP and the liberal establishment, and if you are African-American, you are an “Uncle Tom,” a “negro,” “not black enough” and “against our people.”

In other words, the NAACP fancies itself the thought police for millions of black Americans. Disagree with them and you will be ostracized and attacked. You will be subjected to public humiliation and racist commentary from NAACP leadership. The message is clear: Tow the line or pay the price.

But the NAACP does not stand alone in this regard. The left has a long history of using the race card. It has been pulled on people across the political spectrum.

President Bill Clinton was smeared as a racist by the Obama campaign when Hillary Clinton was running for president. It seems that anyone who disagrees with the far left, socialist policies of Barack Obama and the current administration is subject to the heavy hand of the race card.

I was called a racist when I voiced my intent to vote for McCain. A guy I know who actually is a racist and had previously used the quote “the blacks will take care of the Jews” called me a racist! It was his intent to vote for 0bama. I was floored that this guy who actually said racist things and who I really did not like called me a racist!

"Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal".--James (Jim) Cone,

SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"

WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.

HANNITY: But I'm a — reverend

WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

"The Justice Department originally brought the case against four armed men who witnesses say derided voters with catcalls of "white devil" and "cracker" and told voters they should prepare to be "ruled by the black man." ..."

One poll watcher called police after he reportedly saw one of the men brandishing a nightstick to threaten voters.

As I walked up, they closed ranks, next to each other,” the witness told Fox News at the time. “So I walked directly in between them, went inside and found the poll watchers. They said they’d been here for about an hour. And they told us not to come outside because a black man is going to win this election no matter what.”

He said the man with a nightstick told him, “’We’re tired of white supremacy,’ and he starts tapping the nightstick in his hand. At which point I said, ‘OK, we’re not going to get in a fistfight right here,’ and I called the police.”...”

The word “racist” no longer has any meaning, especially when actual racism perpetrated by liberal blacks continues to become more well known to people.

Of course it only works as long as whites play the game. Otherwise they can manipulate us anywhere they want too.

Racist a generic word that has no real meaning other than ‘bad person’.

I am sooooo tired of “racism”, teacher’s “contract talks”, the fight against obesity, the “war on drugs”, diversity education; I have been listening to this crap my whole life-literally-and as soon as I hear it, I STOP listening because it just means that whoever is talking has stopped using their own brain.

Today, the label “racist” is applied to anyone who disagrees in any way with any liberal non-white or non-male (please note, that term is more inclusive than “female”), or with any policy advocated by any liberal (white males included, if there are any) that purports to serve the interests of non-whites and non-males.

As such it has lost its meaning, and we should stop fearing it.

Indeed, the act of applying the label has become the equivalent of shouting “I am a liberal statist!,” and serves the useful purpose of exposing liberal statists.

With respect, that's a bad reply.

Never appear to agree with a liberal's taunt. Never.

Instead: counterattack immediately.

Do not pause to deny or even acknowledge the charge

Do not reflexively urinate over yourself in submission

Instead say: "You're a disgusting race-baiter. Martin Luther King would have spat in your eye. You racist piece of filth."

These people do not deserve your civility. They hate you. Counterattack!
