Yawn is right, RUSH had better wake up and smell the coffee, he is quickly becoming irrelivant. Most of the things he talks about I have already read on FR hours ahead of time. He had better start devoting more time to his show instead of taking off so much or he is going to lose his audience.

Most of the people he has on taking his place are second stringers at best(Could this be intentional so as to make RUSH look good?) that multitudes of us have no intention of WASTING our time listening to.

One more thing while I am at it, while I and my family have been faithful listeners for a very long time I think RUSH is becoming very arrogant and too full of himself and he is acting like the story (whatever it is) does not exist unless and until he has said it and commented on it(has anyone else here on FR besides me noticed this trend?). Unlike Glenn Beck, all RUSH ever does about any issue is talk about it, he never puts his personal life and fortune on the line, he never acts, never gets involved to the point where he has taken a PERSONAL stand and that stand has cost him something. Talk is cheap and sadly talk is all we ever seem to get from RUSH. When the poop really hits the fan in America and HIS assets and fortune are threatened, he will probably pack his bags and his fortune and bail, just like he did from NYC.

Damn, you said exactly what I’ve been thinking for a long time now. Seems like Rush is more interested in what others say about him on the news.

I’ve also thought Rush could spend some money and hire top notch PI’s to actually dig for dirt or whatever on politicians or whatever may be newsworthy. Sort of like the old Jack Anderson.

You’re right that he only looks at the news and comments on it, he doesn’t make the news other than the others reporting on what he says.

You’ll probably get flamed for this I agree with you, Rush needs to get more proactive, he’s just coasting.

In the U.S. Navy we called it "Skating" = doing J U S T E N O U G H to get by; nothing more, nothing less.

Sadly I fear RUSH is believing his own press and his millions upon millions of dollars a year have totally gone to his head.

There is no way he now "relates" to average Americans and all he does is complain instead of act. If he wants to save his show he needs to learn from Mr. Beck and take some ACTION instead of just words.
