Builders out of work on Maui total 65-percent, Hilo 67-percent and in Kona an unbelievable 95-percent of carpenters are out of a job.

One might think the big zero would try and funnel work back to his beloved ‘home’ state.

Maybe they should seek a career change — birth certificate fraud specialists and election fraud investigators appear to be in short supply.

“They are taking whatever jobs they can get. In all the department stores the lumber companies, Home Depot. I see all the apprentices and different carpenters working, doing what they have to do,” said Lossing.

Wait a minute: I thought these carpenters are out of work!!!

Oh' I see. the real problem is union dues are not coming in. That's the real problem

Obviously this union needs to be super-sized. Replaced with a union that can assure 100% employment.
