It's just not this election. The Constitution states that each House of Congress sets their own rules and handles any disputes regarding elections. I can easily see Pelosi refusing to seat any newly-elected Republican Congressmen, thus maintaining Democrat control, and there's really nothing anyone can do about it.

Article I, Sec 5:

Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members

I’ve always wondered about that. If a congresscritter is newly elected, they wouldn’t be a member, yet, would they ?
