And the US has 57 states. The lame stream makes me PUKE
Remember Marine “corpse men”? Another of Dumbo’s originals...
Now that’s not quite Obamaesque, now is it?
And Kodiak has big brown bears but Hawaii has big bare browns.
So a issue of which is the largest island is worthy of a article by YAHOO/AP but the blunders of the President is not?
Can’t have geography get in the way of their point.
This doesn’t rise to the level of the dim wit dem congressman’s remark about Guam tipping over.
Yahoo went down the drain a longggggggggggggggg time ago. The left obsess about every word that comes out of her mouth on twitter and facebook. I bet they have their staffers stay up all night and wait for her to post something so they can nit pick at it and find some mistake or grammatical error.
Now I must say that Obama and Biden both changed history alright..I had no idea that we had 57 states and that FDR went on television during the great depression..talk about rewriting history
If they think thats funny, they should check out anything that Joe Biden has said in the last 10 years.

Must see YouTube video! (no joke--dead serious!)
March 2010:
Democrat Representative Hank Johnson fears Guam may "tip over" due to overpopulation!

That is funny!
On a visit to the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2005, Jackson Lee made embarrassing news by asking if the Mars Pathfinder had taken an image of the flag planted there in 1969 by Neil Armstrong.[2]
Prior to the 110th Congress, Jackson Lee served on the House Science Committee and on the Subcommittee that oversees space policy and NASA.

The communist Democrat Party psychos in America along with the corrupt media's help, are attempting to do to Sarah Palin what they did to former VP Dan Quayle.
>> Sarah Palin incorrectly calls Alaska’s Kodiak Island the largest island in America
Continental States?
(Earth's inner core is actually slightly less than 10,000 degrees F. The outer core is even less hot)
Actually, Kodiak is the 58th state, and they speak Austrian there. /sarc
“Jackson Lee served on the House Science Committee and on the Subcommittee that oversees space policy and NASA.”
LMAO! Give her a telescope and I doubt she’d know which end to look through/s;)
I knew that is what you were posting as soon as I scrolled down and saw her picture.
And what about total land mass above sea level? Pound for pound, maybe it is larger than the Big Island.
Wow, a whopping 12.5% bigger!
A BTT for a perfect comment.
Shouldn't be a question. Kodiak Island is part of America. Hawaii is part of the United States, not America.
I guess Yahoo! believes, that because, she's black, she can't be expected to know any better.
Well, going by that standard. Kodiak is not the largest island in North America either. In any event, it’s a ridiculous item to fact-check. I assume she meant to say that it was the largest island in Alaska, which much is true.
Yes, that crossed my mind as well.
I’m still interested in geological surveys that show surface area and land mass measurements.
She did win that case before the Supreme Court! Often times the Court does remand it back to the lower court "for further proceedings not inconsistent with this ruling." The fact that the law ended up being repealed by the legislature later is irrelevant to whether she won her point before the Supreme Court. She appealed a decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals which had struck down the entire law and all of its applications. Ayotte got that ruling reversed by the Supreme Court and it was remanded for further proceedings to review specific portions of the law and its applications. That could be considered a victory by any reasonable person - certainly nothing that could construed as having "strayed a bit from the facts."
Yeah but they are failing miserably. If Quayle posted something on twitter, I doubt the media would give a damn..When Sarah Palin posts something on twitter or on facebook its all over the place. She sparks the debate no matter what the topic is. What the media doesn’t get is they think they are so damn smart, but they have no clue that Sarah is playing them like a fiddle. They hate her, but they can’t stop talking about her, and she knows it, so she uses that to her advantage by bringing up issues that she knows will be talked about because she mentions it
Here’s a hard question for you.
Who is dumber, Jackson Lee or Maxine Waters?
gosh this is important.
Another non-story. If Sarah Palin said that Kodiak is the largest island “in America,” then she was absolutely correct.
Hawaii is one of the 50 states belonging to the United States of America, but it happens NOT to be in America.
And, by the way, that headline is a deliberate lie. She DID NOT say that it was the “Largest US Island.” She said “in America.”
Do you ever get your facts straight, AP? Not if they are inconvenient for propaganda purposes.
LLS
She is great entertainment without the cover charge.
Good point. Hawaii may be a part of the United States, but it is not in "America".
Headline: Palin makes geographical mistake, may have made
punctuation errors and forgot to set her clocks forward
in spring.
More to follow...
And let’s not forget that according to Dumb’O “Austrian” is a language!
Or his “special olympics” joke...
Or when he thanks himself...
Here’s more

Well, they were shouting from every news outlet that Russian territory can not possibly be seen from anywhere in Alaska... Puzzled a lot of geographers.
How ‘bout the geek veeps three letter word “JOBS”
>> Kodiak Island is the second largest island in the United States
Which I believe is in the square dimension.
I’m wondering if the Kodiak mountains encompass larger surface area and mass.
The largest American island is Baffin, followed by a dozen or more before getting to the largest US island, Hawaii.
You are right, that is a hard question.
Kodiak Island is the largest island in Alaska and the second largest island in the US.

the obsession over a private citizen, when the president of usa make mistakes everyday
1. On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes and I see many of them in the audience here today our sense of patriotism is particularly strong. Barack Obama
2. This is like the Special Olympics or something. Barack Obama, on The Tonight Show, referring to his pitiful bowling game (March 13)
3. The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system. Barack Obama
4. Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israels. It will be a strong friend of Israels under a McCain
administration. It will be a strong friend of Israels under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change. Barack Obama
5. It is wonderful to be back in Oregon, Obama said. Over the last 15 months, weve traveled to every corner of the United States. Ive now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it. Barack Obama
Actually she stated that there was still a North Vietnam and a South Vietnam. In reality, after the Vietnam war the country became one - Vietnam, or officially, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
I don't think she has yet issued any profound geopolitical statements on the status of North and South Korea - but stay tuned.
Her comment about “not agreeing with everything the North was doing” left me with the impression she was thinking about Korea...but who knows how to make sense out of what her single remaining brain cell conjures up.
Got it now?

Since you seem to be on a one-person bash-Palin crusade.
How about you share with readers, who you are planning to support in 2012.
Because frankly. You seem to have an agenda.
Thanks in advance.
