So Yahoo didn't have time to report on Breitbart handing the Left their @ss on the Sherrod videotape but they have time to report this. By the way, Governor Palin is technically correct. Alaska and the Aleutian islands are part of the North American continent (therefore in America), while the Big Island in Hawaii is part of an archipelago chain in the middle of the ocean.

Yahoo went down the drain a longggggggggggggggg time ago. The left obsess about every word that comes out of her mouth on twitter and facebook. I bet they have their staffers stay up all night and wait for her to post something so they can nit pick at it and find some mistake or grammatical error.
Now I must say that Obama and Biden both changed history alright..I had no idea that we had 57 states and that FDR went on television during the great depression..talk about rewriting history

Sheila Jackson Lee
Member of the U.S. House
of Representatives
from Texas's 18th district

On a visit to the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2005, Jackson Lee made embarrassing news by asking if the Mars Pathfinder had taken an image of the flag planted there in 1969 by Neil Armstrong.[2]

Prior to the 110th Congress, Jackson Lee served on the House Science Committee and on the Subcommittee that oversees space policy and NASA.

The communist Democrat Party psychos in America along with the corrupt media's help, are attempting to do to Sarah Palin what they did to former VP Dan Quayle.

More recently, the esteemed Rep Jackson Lee reported that North and South Vietnam are coexisting, peacefully, as border neighbors.

I guess Yahoo! believes, that because, she's black, she can't be expected to know any better.

Well, going by that standard. Kodiak is not the largest island in North America either. In any event, it’s a ridiculous item to fact-check. I assume she meant to say that it was the largest island in Alaska, which much is true.

Palin also strayed a bit from the facts in praising her for having "won" a case before the U.S. Supreme Court.

She did win that case before the Supreme Court! Often times the Court does remand it back to the lower court "for further proceedings not inconsistent with this ruling." The fact that the law ended up being repealed by the legislature later is irrelevant to whether she won her point before the Supreme Court. She appealed a decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals which had struck down the entire law and all of its applications. Ayotte got that ruling reversed by the Supreme Court and it was remanded for further proceedings to review specific portions of the law and its applications. That could be considered a victory by any reasonable person - certainly nothing that could construed as having "strayed a bit from the facts."

Yeah but they are failing miserably. If Quayle posted something on twitter, I doubt the media would give a damn..When Sarah Palin posts something on twitter or on facebook its all over the place. She sparks the debate no matter what the topic is. What the media doesn’t get is they think they are so damn smart, but they have no clue that Sarah is playing them like a fiddle. They hate her, but they can’t stop talking about her, and she knows it, so she uses that to her advantage by bringing up issues that she knows will be talked about because she mentions it

Another non-story. If Sarah Palin said that Kodiak is the largest island “in America,” then she was absolutely correct.

Hawaii is one of the 50 states belonging to the United States of America, but it happens NOT to be in America.

And, by the way, that headline is a deliberate lie. She DID NOT say that it was the “Largest US Island.” She said “in America.”

Do you ever get your facts straight, AP? Not if they are inconvenient for propaganda purposes.

the obsession over a private citizen, when the president of usa make mistakes everyday

1. “On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.” –Barack Obama
2. “This is like the Special Olympics or something.” –Barack Obama, on The Tonight Show, referring to his pitiful bowling game (March 13)
3. “The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system.” –Barack Obama
4. “Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. It will be a strong friend of Israel’s under a McCain…administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel’s under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change.” –Barack Obama
5. “It is wonderful to be back in Oregon,” Obama said. “Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it.” –Barack Obama

>>> She's managed to top that one recently with her remarks confusing Vietnam with North and South Korea.<<<

Actually she stated that there was still a North Vietnam and a South Vietnam. In reality, after the Vietnam war the country became one - Vietnam, or officially, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

I don't think she has yet issued any profound geopolitical statements on the status of North and South Korea - but stay tuned.

yes.. Obama said their were 57 states.. but the word is he is brilliant since he got all those affirmative action degree handed to him. So when he makes a misstatement, it's obviously just a slip of the tongue, since he is the smartest person ever to walk the earth. But on the other hand Palin is considered stupid even though she actually earned her college degrees, so when she makes a misstatement, it's obviously just because she is dumb, since she is the dumbest person ever to walk the earth.

Got it now?
