I agree with what you have said about national organizations vs. local organizations in a general sense. But dealing with the NAACP specifically, I personally believe that this type of attitude is systemic within the system. Just like the Acorn stuff.

When it's systemic, it's a problem from the top. The NAACP used to be a good organization, but as their main mission has clearly diminished over time due to the integration of the races in this country, it has drifted to the left and been coopted by leftist. I hope Breitbart has more to even further discredit them...

Beautiful, because one incident can be written off and thrown under the bus (even if the whole audience seems to be in agreement with her), but multiple incidents shows a systemic problem within the organization which is a reflection on the leadership. I doubt the MSM can overlook multiple incidents like they did this one.

In actuality, the reaction of the NAACP audience was far more revealing than Sherrod’s own actions. She actually had some concern about having acted poorly. The NAACP audience was cheering about the discrimination she was practicing against the farmer.
